Forgiven Artifice

Three eyed and bearing wing like projections, a wand in each hand, Forgiven Artifice, once Norhi, roams the lost places until called out by a Light Warden. She never opens more than one eye, each being a different color - black, white, and gold. She normally fights mostly through magic, but also with a whipping of the winged projections.

Her magic casts different kinds of spells, according to which eye is open. When the gold eye is seen, her magic is wind. The black eye is earth. And the white eye is healing. 

A fourth phase can occur, during the worst of fights. All three eyes close and her winged projects wrap around her in a half cocoon. A long channeled spell is cast in a cone before her. Any caught in the cone when it goes off has five debuffs applied to them: silence, slow, poison, holy damage dot, wind damage dot.

PROTECTOR OF THE FOREST 

1. Norhi’s only recently really met Reinette and is convinced that there’s some secret past that no one’s told her about, that probably involves bodies hidden somewhere. She’s decided she’s not going to ask.

2. Norhi loves Reinette’s aesthetic. She thinks she’s very glamorous and could probably kill a sucker with her heels, if she wanted.

3. Reinette reminds Norhi of rose variants she saw in a garden once, that had dark red outer petals and edges, but was nearly black in the center.

4. Norhi’s looking forward to getting the chance to sitting down to having tea with Reinette sometime. She’s super curious about her.

5. And given that Norhi’s primary experience with her so far, has been watching her and Xan have a sass-off in the middle of a Bellworks meeting, she’s made a mental note to try and not get in an argument with her.

6. Norhi finds she has a hard time picturing Reinette eating cookies. Or rather, eating anything that can’t be taken entirely in one bite, or with a fork and knife. So, she’s wondering lately, if it’s particularly hard to make petit fours. 

7. She also thinks that Reinette seems like the sort of woman that knows her wine. And wonders what Reinette would think of the forest made Shroud Wines that Norhi gets in trade from other miqo’te tribes. 

8. She presumes any alcohol she’d present to Reinette that wasn’t some high class sourced delicacy, would probably get roasted in words she’d need a dictionary for.

9. Norhi more or less has presumed that Reinette’s a super classy noble woman with expensive taste. 

OH BOY here we go

1: They share makeup, leather polish, and red hair dye. Whenyou’re Hot Topic Goths with expensive taste and red highlights in your hair,finding someone else with the same expensive taste is a gods-send.

2: They also share makeup tips. When Wyda lost her eye, itwas Reinette who taught her more intricate things she could do with hereyeliner for her remaining eye, adding splashes of colour to accentuate her eyefurther and draw attention away from the patch.

3: Wyda has absolutely no idea what age Reinette is and atthis point she’s too embarrassed to ask.

4: It’s okay though, because Reinette isn’t sure if Wyda isa natural blonde who just dyed her hair black for a year, or a naturallyblack-haired woman who keeps dyeing her hair blonde.

5: Wyda’s aware of Rei’s strong inclination towardsAstral-aspected magicks and fire, and tends to huddle nearby to Reinette forwarmth whenever she’s visiting Ishgard. On the less cute side, sometimes Wydauses the excess of ice-aspected aether in Ishgard to create an ice cube in herfingertips, then tries to put it against Reinette’s cheek to watch it meltrapidly.

6: Wyda really, really wants to see Reinette in full battle,without any limitations. Partially because she’s an ever-curious mage who wantsto see a powerful pyromancer in action, and partially because she’s a simplewoman who likes to see attractive women using powers beyond our mortalcomprehension.

7: “Lasbeoux” is, alongside “Dufresne”and “Heuloix”, one of the only Ishgardian surnames Wyda canconsistently pronounce. Mainly because any mispronunciation of it could veryeasily be highly embarrassing for everyone, so she made sure to learn it.

8: The day she discovered that Saint Reinette was a famousIshgardian figure who used a spear called Gae Bolg, Wyda laughed for a solidminute and a half.

9: The two have attended plays together. Wyda attended anIshgardian drama and was bored to tears, and the next time Reinette was inUl'dah, she dragged her to a bawdy Ul'dahn musical which Reinette was horrifiedby. After that they agreed that when they both said they liked the theatre,they had very different ideas of what thetheatre meant.
