aaaaand it's my turn to post! this is my script for @hotguycomiczine's ghost issues! it was an absolute delight to work on this project with my wonderful teammates, @antimony-medusa and @emryste, with special flowers to @wormtime123 for the cover, @cocoabats for the incredible chibi formatting of emrys' art, and @conkopodwii for the art assistance.

Slowly, Mumbo reaches into his pocket and fishes out his cellphone—his personal one, not his work phone—and hits the only number saved in it. When Grian still doesn’t pick up, Mumbo fires off a text.

Mumbo: You need to come home Mumbo: Right now Mumbo: I think I’ve just killed a man.

Turns out, Mumbo’s best friend has been keeping a few secrets from him.
