list of essays/random posts I need to write (updated march 10th, 2026):
ministry and service in the church and why it’s not always publicized on social media/the internet
how the resurgence of gambling/money in exchange for surveys and data apps is a symptom of a world where even only the possibility of a reward is greater than the guaranteed risk
how being married before I graduated college and getting married “young” aka at 22 years old (last year) has affected how my community and church interact with with me as a person
examine ideas that I have and think the pro-life movement could be doing more of in order to uphold a truly consistent life ethic + determine whether they would actually be effective or not. I’d probably make this a collab with an irl friend who doesn’t have tumblr who is deeply involved in boots-on-the-ground and online pro-life work.
fully unpack the fact that generative ai has been released to the general public in such a calculated way as to get us addicted to it the same way that pornography, gambling and social media do. also unpack the fact that it is a minority of people actually using it, so they have to shoehorn it into everything and change layouts of apps and search engines in order to make people accidentally click on it and become “users” for the sake of boosting numbers for investors.
