I need some help from my community, my partner and I are totally fucked. We had to quarantine at the end of June until mid july when I got exposed at work. We both tested negative. Then towards the end of July we started to show symptoms and had to quarantine again until mid August. When the quarantine was over my boss refused to put me back on the work schedule, well she said she would, and still has not several weeks later. While quarantining my partner was offered a job at the local homeless shelter, they fired him before he started when they found out he was transgender and refused to use his dead name at work. Basically we are both on the job hunt and have no income, but lots of bills piling up. We have 3 cats, one of which needs to get shots and neutered, who are running low on food and flea meds. We owe 80 for our water bill that hasn't been paid in 2 months, we owe electric 100, and we have no way to pay our rent, but thankfully our landlord is willing to work with us. We were homeless all of 2019 and JUST got back on our feet a few months ago. We thought we would have some stability for a while, then covid happened and took all of that away. Please, we need help. Like really really need help. We dont want to be back on the streets again, especially since we found out about the transphobia of the local homeless shelter staff. If you can give anything, even a few dollars we would GREATLY appreciate it. Please help two trans survivors battle covid 19.
