Leon’s eyes had turned even darker as we whispered to one another in the corner of the bar away from a couple nosey teammates who were trying to act as though every move we made wasn’t watched closely.  His enormous body was hunched over so far to speak softly that every one of my senses was on high alert.

“You want this just as much as I do.” I couldn’t deny his words.

“I do.” The words had barely made it out of my mouth before his lips were crushed to mine in a bruising kiss.  We both heard the other members of our booth’s hoots and hollers as Leon pushed me further into the corner until my back brushed against the wall.

He pulled his lips from mine to rub his beard roughly against my jawline as his tongue found my pulse point.  My hands attempted to grip the shaved sides of his head and when it proved to be an unsuccessful idea moved further up to find the long strands he hadn’t put gel into after the game.  I couldn’t repress a loud gasp as his teeth sunk into my neck sharply and my fingers reacted by pulling at the soft strands tightly.

“I’m certainly not going to offer the information up to him.” His voice was softer than normal making sure no one could overhear our conversation. I hadn’t thought he would but I needed to make sure, it could ruin my relationship with Oscar otherwise.  “It was a onetime thing anyways.”  The statement coming out of his mouth hurt more than I’d wanted it to but I knew that was the case even as the events of the night were happening.

“Of course it was. It’s not like either of us was looking for more.” The rest of the team started making their way down the hall as I spoke and Leon took a few steps away from me while masking the emotions on his face completely.

“Leonnn.” I almost didn’t recognize my own voice as I groaned his name out.  He was straddling my hips and staring down at me so intently I thought my skin would soon blister.  I’d never seen him so focused on something off the ice.  

He reached his hand out and ran it along my exposed collarbone as I attempted to lift his shirt from his body.  I needed to see more of his skin, he’d ripped my shirt off as soon as we were inside his apartment and it now felt as though he had the upper hand in our situation.

The glances which were sent our way as everyone marched past us made me turn my head downwards.  I didn’t need to see the quizzical looks from most of the team as to why I was hanging around in the back with Leon instead of Oscar.

“Finally gracing us with your presence?  You went MIA on us.”  My head snapped up as I heard a voice I really needed to at the moment. Leon’s eyes caught mine over Adam’s shoulders and I could feel the warmth spreading across my cheeks as I thought of the reason why I’d just stopped attending practices, games and other functions for the past few weeks.

Leon’s weight lifted off me slightly as he reached down to unsnap my jeans.  His brow was furrowed in concentration and I couldn’t recall seeing something so attractive in my life.  The gasp which escaped my lips as his fingers slid towards the area of my body currently aching for pleasure from him caught his attention and he locked eyes with me before continuing.

“This is fine, yes Liebling?” I’d never heard the term before but couldn’t question what it meant since all my thoughts were centered on where his hand currently was and where I wanted it to be, nodding I lifted my hips for him hoping he’d take the hint and continue.

“Answer me if you want me to continue.” The seriousness to his statement turned me on more than I had ever thought to be possible.

“Please” was the only word I was able to form as I anxiously waited for him to continue.

“School has kept me busy.” It would seem plausible; I had followed Oscar to Canada when I was accepted to University.  

“You still need a break every once and a while or at least answer people’s texts.” The voice came from off to the side of me and I turned to look at Connor as he stopped next to us.  I was tempted to give him a snotty response but the look he was giving me kept my mouth shut.

“On that note I’ll see you later Y/N.” Adam started walking off as he spoke and suddenly I was nervous being left with the two linemates.

“Thanks Adam.” I mumbled under my breath.

“How is it you two managed to make this the most awkward situation I have ever been involved in?” Connor’s voice was beginning to carry as he spoke and Leon and I both motioned for him to tone it down a bit.

“There is nothing to be involved in Connor, Y/N and I agreed it was only going to be a one time thing and we are sticking to it. No matter what.” I could feel Leon’s eyes on me as he spoke but I kept my attention on Connor.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Connor was about to say more but stopped as another figure approached us.

“Look who finally decided to show her face.  I was getting sick of being questioned daily about where you were.” Oscar dropped his arm on my shoulder as he leaned into my side and placed a kiss on the side of my head.

“That’s what I was just saying.  The three of us should get going anyways, I know coach wanted to talk to us all after practice and we shouldn’t keep him from starting you know everyone will be mad if we keep them longer than necessary.” I’d never been so happy for Connor to step into Captain mode in my life as he motioned for Leon and Oscar to head off before him.  I mouthed a thank you to him as he gave me a soft smile and nod.

“I’ll catch you at home Y/N, I’ll get lunch for us on my way.” I could only wave to Oscar as Leon turned back and looked at me intently as he headed into the locker room.
