Hey umm idk if u knew this when making ur flag,,, but "futch" was originally just supposed 2 be a joke as butch/femme identities aren't just a sliding scale of aesthetics, and many butches and femmes find the term being used seriously kinda offensive. I would suggest removing that from ur definitions thing. Other Than that I think it was good, it's a pretty flag and I like all the other meanings included!
i don’t really agree?
i like using the term futch for myself to describe my identity- because i dont really identify as femme or butch. i’m an agender lesbian, therfor futch is comfortable for me.
it may have started out as a joke of aesthetics, but a lot of lesbians i know take it seriously now as its own identity.
you don’t have to agree, but this is my opinion on it as a lesbian and i know other lesbians agree.
my take on the lesbian flag!
hi guys!! this is my take on the lesbian flag.
i didn’t design it with TOO much in mind, but heres what i did think of:
purple - for lesbian history, purple is a lesbian color so i think the lesbian flag should include it!
semi-pinks - for femme lesbians, or fem leaning nb lesbians
orange - nb lesbians or lesbians who lean neither way or both
orange+reds - butch lesbians, or masc leaning nb lesbians
i was inspired by some of the new lesbian flags (using some same colors like the oranges).
this flag is nb lesbian + he/him lesbian inclusive!! TERFS ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING TOUCHING THIS!
