I’m not the woman I was a few years ago or even a year ago but I still like to hold her hand and remind her she did her best with what she knew

You’re young now, and you have the opportunity to be the first woman in your bloodline who has chosen herself and decided how she’s going to live her life. Take some initiative, never be afraid to reach out or follow up, always be passionate about your plans, and do what it takes to secure your future. If something is meant to be, it’s up to you to follow through and make sure it gets done. You can’t take a passive role in your own life and expect the things you want to still happen.
