this is Scarlet, she is my aunt's bird and someday my bird. she is probably around 30 years old or older, she's family to us, this Tuesday she got out of her cage and flew away. we are devastated.

Bonus:

Hi friends! I don't feel very comfortable with sharing this story, but I am desperate and it is necessary. As some of you may know, I have moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend a few days ago and have not been able to actively work on this blog. I am hoping to get back to normal soon but it's not looking good right now. A lot of things have gone wrong and I am super stressed and worried about everything as I do not do well with change due to my autism.

Some of you may remember way back when last summer I had to leave my grandma's house because of a repeated abuse incident there involving a drunk family member (which btw they got away with and I was left with PTSD). Since then I have been living with my boyfriend and he's been supporting me in every way.

I was promised more financial support by my parents once I was in the new apartment with my partner and continued my university education. Instead, they changed their minds and cut me off completely both financially and personally right before the move. This shocked me and I am deeply hurt. One of the reasons I moved into this new place was the assumption that they would stay true to their word and support me in becoming more independent. I feel stupid for believing them as they have not been trustworthy in the past, but now I need real help. I will reach out to a lawyer as soon as possible to sue my parents but that process takes time, energy and money and I don't even know if it will be successful, even if I have a solid case.

I have had to put my campaign for a service dog on hold obviously, because now I need to pay rent and buy furniture like a desk for when university starts in October. My partner can only do so much for me to help me out financially and now I feel like I am letting him down.

Anyway, this was super long but basically if you want to help me out or have any advice for me or kind words, that would be wonderful. If you live in Germany and have specific legal advice I'd very much appreciate that, too. I really just need some help and support right now. Emotionally, I'm at an end.
