Shut up about uhhh um.... Hm. Not sure what to be upset about today

as schools across the globe close please be mindful of the way this affects so many people, mainly kids rely on the meals at their schools to be fed and otherwise dont eat during the week. teachers arent getting paid to do their jobs and existing on a teachers salary can be hard enough. many college students need to live on campus because their home life is unstable, absusive, or simply non existent. if u have the means, please donate to homeless shelters and food banks because that is where students and families with kids are going to go first. schools are closing for health and sanitary reasons and taking the precautions is necessary but neglecting to recognize the fact that schools also provide a place of safety and meals is so important.
