Devil is in the details, and I've stumbled upon such a moment even though they didn't have to add such a minor thing:

During a fight Astarion got mind-controlled, so he ran up to Karlach to bite her, but she turned out to be too hot for him.

They had a banter of sort: "Why so hot, it burns!" And she was like: "What did you expect, dumbass?!" right in the middle of the fight.

At least the mind control dropped, lol
