When Severus agreed to raise James and Lily's son and the boy looked so much like James he expected him to have James' personality. He expected nature to win out there and the boy would just end up being a vain, nasty, mean little bully.

He told himself he would do his best to try to instill more of Lily's personality into the boy but he didn't hold out a lot of hope of it working.

It didn't work.

But little Harry also doesn't have James' personality, either.

"But, da, I don't want to swim in the lake! Can't we go to visit Draco? He has a pool!" Harry said, anxiously.

"What is the difference? We are already here," Severus said, not seeing the point. They had come out here so he could let Harry play in nature and have a picnic. Severus thought he might forage for potions ingredients but not while Harry was near the water, of course.

This was one of the places he and Lily used to go to sometimes, before their falling out in school.

"There's fish in there. What if I accidentally kick one?" Harry said.

"It won't hurt you," Severus said. He wouldn't let Harry swim anywhere he thought had fish that would be capable of harming him.

"No, da! What if I hurt the fish??" Harry asked and began to sniffle.

No, Harry didn't have either James or Lily's personalities.

It wraps itself around an enemy's head, sucking out their insides. Pal mummies are occasionally found, but these are in fact killamari victims.
