one of my fav rogues for pride month <3
[image id: a knee-up drawing of sera, who is holding a large lesbian flag behind her. she’s wearing a modern outfit inspired by the one in the game, with a red turtleneck croptop, asymmetrical black skirt and ripped black thighs. the background is a plain yellow circle. end id]

You into queer vampires? Of course you are, you're on Tumblr.
I'm publishing my novel for free via Substack and just released the prologue. I also did a reading and uploaded it on YouTube. I fucking hated editing that reading. Hell is having to listen to my own voice recorded by a crappy mic setup.
Anyway.
Fleeting Joy is set in the near-future and follows Skye, a young woman who finds out that she will develop Huntington's Disease. Her closest friend, Nixie, introduces her to the secret world of vampires. She becomes a delivery girl for a blood rationing system in Glamis, Scotland, so that she will one day escape Huntington's through becoming one of the undead. But, when an ancient vampire shows up and her flatmate goes missing, Skye learns that not all undead are made equal.
Interesting premise? Check out the prologue. If you like it, subscribe.
pick a mistery dwarf to get a just ok game recommendation
👑
⚔️
🥽
🚧
🔓
🕯️
🧼
👑 - You've picked King Giott from the role-playing game Final Fantasy IV
SIKE we start with an actually really good one! The main guy is a war criminal, his bestie spends half of his screentime betraying the party and the other half feeling sosososo bad about it, the sprawling underground map will try to kill you multiple times. The best Dragon Age game came out in 1991, actually!
⚔️ - You've picked Boïndil Doubleblade from the tactical role-playing game The Dwarves!
MY "I said I liked it not that it was good" game, based on the Markus Heitz book of the same name which is still pretty great if you're 13. Lots of love clearly went into it and perhaps that's what the real treasure was all along. Why is it still at 39.99€. Children of the Smith still bangs immensely though.
🥽 - You've picked Jasper from the stealth game Styx: Blades of Greed
Do NOT spend forty bucks on a Styx game, what the fuck? These wonky little bitches trying their best always go on a 30% sale AT A MINIMUN every other month like, two years after release on Steam. I know we're all here for the dwarven crafts but start with Master of Shadows and go from there.
🚧- You've picked Folnur from the hidden object game Lost Lands 2: The Four Horsemen!
Look at him (:
🔓- You've picked Dorna Trapspringer from the role-playing game Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide!
Showing its age badly if we're being honest. But also look at her (:
🕯️- You've Picked Ruggnar from the platform game Ruggnar!
This is also pretty good and goes on sale often I'm just mad at it because I swear I should have landed on that moving platform and not plummeted on the spike trap below
🧼 - You've picked Oghren Kondrat from the. The role-playing..... game... Dragon Age: Origins..? Really? Really?
Baby, I don't even know what to tell you. Don't forget you're here forever.
Ship Tournament — Round #6 / Match 1 of 2
Fenris/Isabela
"isabela/fenris is soooo good because both of them are carrying a ridiculous amount under the surface and deal with it in completely different ways. isabela deflects with charm and humour, fenris with distance and sharp edges, so putting them together gives you this really fun mix of banter, tension, and unexpected vulnerability. also there is just something extremely delicious about two people with commitment issues circling each other like they’re not part of all this while being the most obviously interested idiots alive."
vs. Sigrun/Velanna
"It's the gloomy raincloud/sunshine pairing trope, but the sunshine is coming from the dead rogue dwarf. Sigrun and Velanna were both such fun characters in Awakening and they both had so much potential to come back. Finding out that there had been a tossed plot idea for Blue Wraith where they were canonically together and trying to use the magic from Fenris' lyrium tattoos to trigger elven immortality to save Velanna from her calling has driven me insane since I learned about it. They would have been so cute together!"
"There's not nearly enough dwarf/elf relationships in Dragon Age. I truly believe the two of them should have made it outside Awakening, it's a pity they had such little screentime. I haven't played the DLC in a while but their interactions are always so interesting. Also the fact that Velanna almost made it to DA2 in Anders' place could have made that dynamic even more interesting. It's really a shame that they didn't even get a cameo, like Nathaniel."
"Fan art introduced me to this pairing and I just think it's neat. They're both displaced from their cultures and yet those cultures provide the reason they each want to be wardens: Velanna to find her sister and Sigrun to continue her mission as a legionnaire. Sigrun is also possibly the only companion Velanna is civil with from the first meeting, which is interesting to me. I just love their vibes together."
"The awakening ladies don't get nearly enough love and also they should have kissed"
Which is the better ship?
Fenris/Isabela
Sigrun/Velanna

Day 5 Corpse
That’s the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever drawn. Leli after the warden killed her in the temple of Sacred Ashes. She is resurrected though, through Andraste’s holy light!!!!
I’ve only did it once playing as a ruthless Aeducan (that one “evil” playthrough), but I cried afterwards because she is my all time favourite companion across all DA games, so yeah in my canon world state she will always be alive❤️🩹
@da-rogues-week
bubble is abel don't @ me
What do you guys mean this is not what happened at the landsmeet??
Honestly I loved the whole landsmeet quest, especially researching all the different outcomes of how it can go. But it was one of those occasions where I missed more argumentative dialogue options.. and somehow my mind jumped to Ace Attorney. I don;t have any regrets

anyone else worried about the abstractions possibly being released now...?
Whenever Americans go 'stop commenting on our politics, it's our country, not yours!' I, as a person who grew up in the Middle East, and am from and live in South Africa, am like 'here's the deal: we'll stop commenting about your politics when your country stops accelerating over the nine ecological planetary boundaries, backing autocratic regimes, exploiting labour and resources from the Global South, creating algorithms which proliferate misinformation that further endanger vulnerable people globally, and using microwaves to heat your tea'.
I'm only joking about the last point. somewhat
