Doll Chateau Letitia/Landa hybrid - modified:

I finally put her together. I’m actually pretty pleased with how the dye had ended up coming out. She’s a bit darker than I had originally intended, as I was trying to match her eyes. I had accidentally dropped one of her legs in the dye vat and couldn’t get it back out fast enough so I had to match the rest of her to it (￣◇￣;)

EDIT:

I did end up trading her with another collector for the Zeev head. I packed her up snug this weekend and she shipped out today. Hopefully she’ll arrive at her new home safe and quick.

So I discovered that some of the Alicia parts fit reeeeaally well onto the lucywen centaur body and...

Well, let’s just say my weakness for centaurs is leading me to look for another body 🙃

Magda is home!

The Lucywen I ordered arrived today. The seller had originally said she would not come with her eyes or wig but ended up including both AND an extra set of eyes 😬

Dagmar was eager to get her sister out of that box. Of course then Agnes had to be pulled in for a family selfie. Dag even changed for the occasion.

While I haven’t got her on the horse body right at the moment, I must say the fairyland centaur body is absolutely phenomenal. The poseability of it is out of this world. While I'm not overall in love with minifee poseability, their centaur body is by far the best I've encountered so far. Other centaurs I own include the LUTS KD moonlit song body and the ResinSoul spring.

This cutie came in yesterday. He (she?) is a third hand Resin Soul Spring faun/centaur in purple.

It looks like this little guy was pretty well loved in the past as he's got pretty significant, if even yellowing all over. I only noticed due to the covered portions of the jointing mechanisms having retained their original coloration. He was also pretty grimy when he arrived so I gave him a nice scrub everywhere except the face plate.

I like the facial pattern the last owner gave him but I really need to clean his face and it isn't sealed so it looks like he'll be getting a new faceup whether I want to or not 😩

I would also like to make a new wig for him. I thought I'd be able to restyle the one he came with but it's made to be permanently styled as it came.

After what felt like ended deliberation I've finally given my girls their names.

I've got Mads in a makeshift dress and a borrowed Wig so she isn't just sitting naked on a shelf ┐(‘～`；)┌

The Madeline body has proven to be quite challenging to pose between the arm joint sculpt and the crazy heel feet. Because of this I ended up ordering a Landa in pink (B-Body-12) from Doll Chateau to hybrid with her. It won't be here until late October at best, but I'm excited to put her on the new body.

I plan to keep her head, tail, and paws from the Madeline doll and use the chest, body, arms, legs, and feet from the B-Body-12. I may keep the thighs from Madeline if they fit on the 12's lower legs since I do like the thicker though sculpt. I'm also very happy to be switching her bust out for the smaller one since the bust on the Madeline body is... excessive, at best.

FairyLand Fairyline Minifee Alicia (seahorse)

I've had her outfit, tail, wig and eyes for some time now, but I've finally received her body (with company face up), and now she's complete!

This is my first minifee and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of the sculpt and poseability. Compared to my other dolls she stands like a rock.

Her hips and legs are fairly comparable to my Lillycat Constantine, though she is much thicker in the torso and has a much larger head.

While her proportions are very similar to my LUTS boys she is made of a significantly thinner and lighter resin. I believe this lends itself to her poseability, as she doesn't have the risk of collapsing under her own weight.

She is second hand, and her previous owner did remove her company eyelashes so I'll have to get some replacement lashes from FL😓
