It's really a thing that is crazy at first. We started literally as teens, so when we first heard one of our songs randomly in a store, at least one or more of us screamed. It's a big thing. People know us, play our music, and it's out there. That is HUGE! Being a kid too when it starts is crazy. I love it now still even if we hear ourselves a lot more. It's almost like a check in or just that acknowledgement that is pretty awesome. Holy shit though, mate, that is really pretty huge by itself. How did you get involved with rescues?
i feel like i wouldn't even properly get used to it as i got further into the industry and would get just as excited as you do now, you know? like..this really is the life and you're living the dream. i'm actually not really involved in that kinda thing normally! i was just in the area and sort of just..acted. the police did most of the work, but i lended a hand when they needed.

i'm really enjoying myself this go around! been traveling with my family and my girlfriend, which has been the best thing for me after how crazy the season and worlds was. my girlfriend was ver adamant on me not pushing myself too hard so i've been relaxing more than i have been training which my body really needed, truthfully. yeah? where you headed out on vacation?
i've heard you're a bit of a cheese connoisseur and i've got very little knowledge other than sliced cheese on toast, and sprinkling some mozzarella on a pizza or some parmesan on pasta. i'm not into all those smelly cheeses though, so where would you recommend a newbie like myself should start on the cheese-spectrum? i am, i am! i swear if i wasn't doing hockey for a living, i'd be some kind of cheese snob. don't worry, this is a safe space for smelly cheese haters because i'm one too. i always say brie is a good safe one to start with. it's creamy and you can do a shit ton with it and pair it with a lot of other things. you just can't go wrong with it.

I know I should be used to this by now. We are on tour at our stop in Texas and I was in a store early getting food for the hotel, and what song comes on in the store but Jet Black Heart. if i were a musician and my music just randomly came on in whatever store i was in, i'd get so weirded out and i don't think i could even actually stay very long. though you've been doing it so long i'm sure you're probably used it by now, eh? my day's been pretty eventful to say the least. i ended up helping the police rescue a family that'd gotten stuck in a dam by the river in my local town.

You better actually mean it about the resting part, because if I catch you sneaking into extra training sessions this off-season, I will personally come and sit on you to hold you still. And not in the sexy way you are thinking of. You've pushed yourself so hard, and you've more than earned some chill and yeah I just want to take care of your soul and body. That's really lovely, your grateful heart is only pulling me in. But I can't say it big enough that's so important we both have that same view cause Id drop anything for my siblings in a second. I love how welcoming they all have been , your whole family, to the serious girl with the serious itinerary. But I was telling someone else they are so lovely from the moment I met them the nerves went away and it just feels like homey being around them. It is all that matters for both our families that we choose each other and we really hella like each other.

oh no, we all know that people are obsessed with them now! the league's embraced it, which is nice. right? sometimes that's all the industry needs, a little shake up. i'm a huge horror guy, so i like to think i'm pretty knowledgable when it comes to it! nah, exactly. or if the scares are...scary enough. which not every single scare has to be, you know? i think so! we've got some really good additions to our team with free agency and some trades and i have a lot of faith in us this upcoming season. nope! we're in the off season right now. the season officially starts in october.
