It is so important to constantly make ourselves aware that we need to enjoy the moment we currently have. Yesterday I was rushing to get out the rain because I obviously didn’t want to get wet. Despite having an umbrella, all I could think about was getting under cover. I paused and thought about it and realised I should be enjoying the rain and I did. The moment I stopped rushing to get somewhere else I enjoyed the cool air, the droplets of water falling down and the smell of fresh rain.

  That example can be applied to every aspect and every moment of our life. Why rush when you can take a moment to just enjoy everything around you. Yes becoming preoccupied with life can easily become a habit, but enjoying each moment can be made a habit too. Just decide right now that you don’t care about anything for the time being and you want to enjoy what is right in front of you.  Let go of the past and stop worrying about the future, the only thing you have control over is your present moment, your right now!

So its almost the end of January (can you believe it) and I’m sure the motivation that people had in the beginning has already started to wear off.  Well I’d like to give you a boost and tell you that keep doing what you’re doing and motivate yourself everyday towards whatever goals you have set yourself.
