You could play all day in the dirt and still feel good about yourself. You wouldn’t spend much time staring at your reflection in the mirror, and when you did, you just made funny faces. You never considered there could be something wrong with your body, your eyes, your nose, your lips or the fact that your hair never seemed to stay still.
