Take a Western, Jules Verne, Star Wars and Glory, mix them together and you’ve got HIGH JOHN CONQUEROR
THE STORY: Sweeping Romance, High Adventure and Retro-Afrofuturism. A crazed mashup of Zora Neale Hurston, HP Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Martin R. Delany.
THE FORMAT: I call it a COMATIC: A blend between a Comicstrip and an Animatic. Made for the social media environment.
THE SCHEDULE: Attempting to release 3-5 days weekly at one comic panel per day showing drawing and narrative process. AND, a little music.
