You know you see a lot of people hyping up Isaac for taking on necromorphs despite being just a lowly engineer but we really should be talking more about Ellie the delivery driver getting her eyeball taken out with a screwdriver and seeming more irritated by it than hurt. She's going around fine the whole rest of the game. It doesn't even seem to have put a dent in her attitude. That woman is a machine.

At least from what I've seen I seem to be in the minority on this but I actually love the ending subversion in Dead Space 2. Going for the sad and somber ending where Isaac our long suffering hero confronts his guilt and his grief, stops the Marker he created and is left sitting alone in silence waiting to die as Titan Station collapses around him... until Ellie comes crashing in like "not today asshole, fuck you and your martyr complex we're both getting out of this and you are gonna live whether you like it or not" is so much a welcome refutation of what you'd expect from the genre. Then the game gets to end not on a quiet depressing note but on one last big exciting action/escape sequence because Dead Space 2 knows exactly what it is.

It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.
