the greatest threat to my safety and a trans woman’s safety is a straight man, in both cases. refusing to acknowledge that trans women are attacked and killed for their identity is about as insane of a take as when a man says women don’t experience sexism. it’s impossible to reason with people who think this way because they have to willingly ignore swaths of reality for their worldview to make sense.
