i keep coming back to this photo because i was speechless when i first saw it. My cheeks are back, my health is back, my ability to feel my whole spirit is back. This is such a big deal. I used to hate my cheeks and now i’m crying because i never thought i’d feel this way about a photo of myself. Healing has happened!!! It is happening!!! Since my mom died i never thought I’d feel strong and sturdy again.

tony & gus ran around outside & i got the juiciest tick of tony’s neck. now im drinking on the couch while my best friend catches up with their family. much needed rest after the first half of the journey. part of this feels like a grieving tour
