I made a playable DnD race for @scitty-kitty‘s birthday and I’m posting it here because twitter’s character limitation makes it hard to post there in one place
Fau An animal like race of humanoids who take to all sorts of environments many live away from heavily populated areas but some do choose to live in more urbanized areas. The Fau gain the following traits and have the following subspecies. Ability Score Increase. All Fau get a +1 to Wisdom Age. The Fau live at the same rates as humans maturing around 18-20 years of age and live a little under a century on average Alignment. The Fau can have any alignment but tend towards chaotic alignments.
Size. Fau range anywhere from 4-6 feet in height on average and are considered Medium.
Speed. 35 feet
Languages: You can speak read and write both Common and Sylvan
Wild Tongue: As a Fau you can speak with Animals as if you shared a language.
Nature Adept: As a being of nature you have Advantage to all Nature, and Survival checks.
Heightened Senses: The Fau have advantages on the following Perception checks
Sight: Nocturnus
Sound/Hearing: Deerling/Fox Folk/Wolfkind/Nocturnus
Scent: Fox/Wolfkind

The Fau have 4 subspecies.
Deerling Ability Score Increase: As a Nimble Deerling you gain an Additional +1 to Dex Hooves: With your powerful and graceful legs your balance is better than most. You have advantage on saving throws against being knocked prone, and can deliver a powerful kick which does 2D4+Str Modifier in damage. Charge: If you move at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, roll the weapon’s damage dice twice and add them together. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Fox Folk
Ability Score Increase: All Fox Folk gain +1 to Charisma Dark Vision: You can see in the dark up to 60 feet
Vulpin Grace.You move lightly and with grace, you are proficient in both Acrobatics and Stealth, Also as a reaction, when you are targeted by a melee or ranged attack you can see you can perform a Dexterity saving throw to attempt to evade it. The DC is equal to the opponents attack roll. On a successful save you take half damage. You regain use of this trait once you finish a short or long rest.
Fox Magic: You gain the cantrip Minor Illusion and can also cast Disguise Self at will.
Nocturnus Ability Score Increase: As a member of this subspecies you gain a +1 to intelligence Dark Vision: As a member of the Nocturnus you have superior Dark vision, gaining 120 feet of vison in dark or dimly lit places. Flight: You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To take flight, you cannot be wearing medium or heavy armor.
Silent Flight: You have advantage on Stealth checks made to fly quietly.
Talons:If your talons are unshod you can deal 1d4+ your strength Modifier with a kick.
Wolfkind Ability Score Increase: All Wolfkind get a +1 to Strength
Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Bite: You have a natural powerful fanged jaw, which you can use to attack an opponent. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier. Pack Tactics: You have advantage on any attack roll against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the target and the ally isn't incapacitated.
