ERROR X FEM!READER

Error finds himself a precious doll.

CW: Stockholm Syndrome, Kidnapping(?), Obsession, Mentally ill man idk what else to tell you lol, low-key got kinda lazy at the end. Reminder that this is MY version of Error.

MASTERLIST

The skeleton could feel a shiver run down his spine. No doubt another glitch... The Anti-void would usually be a place of solitude for the destroyer. But not this time.

He couldn't deny the fact that he was a tad bit curious about this specimen. She was soft, fleshy. Something he very clearly wasn't. How did a human get into this place? He has little patience to actually debate that with himself. Even though that should probably be his first priority...

He had caught her before she could get a single word in. Being so long without a human contact, he was left staring at her face. Her lips were the glossy, probably make-up. Or the sweat? Who knows... Her eyes, although closed, looked almost dreamy. Her face was soft, Error guesses. Oblivious to the fact that he's currently acting like a weirdo.

It's only when the girl's eyes flutter open. Only then does his smile appear on his face. He can't mask his chuckle as she immediately yelps upon seeing him looming over her. The chuckle is wrong... All jagged and glitchy. He was like a broken program, who stopped functioning a long time ago.

The first words he said to you almost gave you a whiplash.

"Good night, doll!" He casually piped up, shuffling away from you, he grinned even wider when he realized his mistake. Shaking his head, he leaned in closer to you. "H-He-hehe," he glitched again, his head twisting to an impossible angle, before snapping back just as fast. "I meant good morning!"

With a twirl of his skeletal finger, you were now hoisted upright by him. He stood up not long after... The smile on his face almost painted on. If the fact that he was standing over you moments before didn't unsettle you... This certainly did. He was weird... He looked like a skeleton. But unlike the skeletons from the TV, this one is exponentially different.

The man has black bone tissue and he was quite short in stature. Shorter than you... Though he didn't seem all that bothered by it. The inside of his eye sockets was somehow red, and he had something similar to pupils. One dilated with two colors, yellow and dark blue... And the other was smaller, having only white as a color. It gave him a sort of unhinged look... Which doubled when your eyes landed on his yellow teeth, curled into an almost permanent smile. Well, you assumed it was permanent. He hadn't stopped smiling even once so far.

Getting out of your daze, you shook your head. Brows furrowing in both confusion and fear. He was toying with you like you're his doll. "W-Who are you?" You cursed yourself internally for stuttering. How embarrassing. Clearing your throat to get rid of your awkwardness when he chuckled, you continued. "And where am I?!"

"Nowhere and everywhere!" Error nonsensically responded to your latter question... Still grinning, as his blue strings slightly tightened their hold on you. At first sight, he doesn't really look all that threatening... But his actions speak otherwise.

His speech was awful. The glitching and redialing in his voice was getting a little more frequent, even when he didn't look any more different...

"What does that even mean-?" Your sentence got cut off by Error, who pointed at you. "It's an endless space!" He was being so unhelpful... But looking around the place some more, it was borderline worrying to see a never-ending white before you. "...Stop fucking with me... Who are you?"

"Error!" Based on your conversation so far, you didn't expect to have him answer you so fast like that... This really is the conversation of a lifetime. You internally repeated his name in your head, mulling over the letters... Error, Error, Error... That's definitely a name that would fit a man like him.

"And you are in my home! Which makes you my guest, no?" Where did he suddenly came to that conclusion? You wish that you could deny him, but you that was nearly an impossible task, when he started dragging you with him by his strings. "I'm something of an artist myself, you see?"

He was just blabbering at this point. This guy looks mentally ill... Not in a good way either. "And based on my artistic knowledge... you look like a very pretty dolly." A pinkish hue spread across your cheeks from his sudden compliment, but you couldn't even process it properly. Letting out a surprised yelp, you got thrust into a beanbag. And even as you sat, the strings didn't let up... They only acted as a seat belt, to keep you there.

He let out a series of glitchy, distorted chuckles once more, as he sat on a swing made from his strings on the whim. "We're gonna have so much fun!"

One hundred and forty two days...

That's how long you've been in the Anti-void. Call it Stockholm Syndrome, but the more time you spend in Error's possession, the more you started getting closer to him on a deeper, more fundamental level. You've noticed way more about him now... Like the fact that his 'nose' looks like an upside down heart. A cute fact, that you'll take to your grave.

His glitches subsided near you over time. They still happened, but you were pretty much used to them now. Error was pretty bizarre too... Like generally. One day, when he was off to take care of something, he bought back a duck. A rubber duck. You still don't know the purpose of that. Or that other time where he asked you what you think about 'the voices'.... This guy is definitely not ok at all.

Error, without your knowledge, genuinely liked having you around. Though the guy would never admit that. You were like the dolls from yarn that he likes to crochet... Except way prettier. And you smell better too. But he knew it was fate the very first moment that you fell through to his home.

You're his favorite type! ... Of victim!

Nightmare finds your sunshine self annoying, but also kinda... Amusing at the same time? His white teeth are always in a long, thin smile, so... Who knows what he genuinely thinks about you?

Since his evil team is full of mentally ill men, he likes the fact that you're a girl. It balances it out, y'know?

"The Dominion supports women power."

Nightmare is not one to really care about your dresses and bows... But he likes to almost cruelly run his tentacle over your clothes just to watch them stain with his goop. No, he doesn't care how much your dress cost.

He does find it irritating that he can't feed on your negative emotions... Why did he even recruit you? The Dominion is a strong faction with an actual """nobel""" goal, why did he— ... Oh, right. He thought it'd be funny to hire a girl. That checks out.

Since my version of Nightmare can change his physical form to whatever (because he's literally made of goop)... He likes to imitate you a lot. Even copying your voice down to a T, but more exaggeratingly. He's literally such a little shit...

He admits that you do have a style that he likes... Just don't make fashion shows right in the middle of the meeting.

Well, there's no way to back out now! You legally (not really) belong to him now! Not in a romantic way though... Yet.

KILLER

He can't keep doing this shit dude. Here he is, trying to act like his usual cocky self to put up walls around his soul... And then you just- start looking at him with those doe eyes? Fuck...

Killer isn't really all that perverted at all... But he can't deny that he has a lot of... Thoughts about you. Not innocent either.

He likes thinking about how different you are from him. Here he is... A broken, washed up wreck... And then there's you.

He actually likes having you around. Thinks you're a breath of fresh air from the usual tense atmosphere he experiences everyday...

Killer does have a secret hobby of carving, soo... He might let you join in! Just don't tell anyone... Or Nightmare will have his skull on a stick as a decor.

Oh, please show him your dresses! He likes watching you twirl for him.

Low-key a simp. But how can he help it when you're oh so pretty? He feels pathetic.

DUST

Dust has selective mutism, so I don't think there'd be any connection happening between you two. Can you wield a weapon? That's what matters to Dust, instead of some dresses.

Dust has a really bad habit of staring at you a lot. God knows what's going on through his head, when you can't even see his face.

In reality? He's honestly kinda admiring you... There is one thing he just can't deny. There's something deeply charming about your girly ways. Not like he'd ever say it to your face.

When you show him your clothes or something, be just nods and gives you a little thumbs up. Which is... Oddly sweet.

He's also somehow not really all that bothered or weirded out by your sunshine demeanor. He thinks that it's your own coping mechanism.

Just like how he's with the other members, he doesn't trust you all that much... But he might start preferring you over the others as time goes on.

Just don't bug him about his drinking habits. It irritates him... So what if he takes a sip or two from his flask? Everyone has different coping mechanism and his is... Not healthy.

HORROR

Horror, with his dark jokes and eerie demeanor, doesn't immediately like you. It's more like he tries to see what kind of a person you are... Trying to "crack your code open".

But I believe that my version of Horror would genuinely be a little... Careful with you... Because you're a girl. Now don't get him wrong! He's not a misogynist! But... How can he not see you as someone soft when you act the way you do?

It's been awhile that Horror experienced such sunshine-like personality... And he kinda enjoys it. It reminds him of the old days. In a good way.

If there was one way to describe Horror's stance on your fashion, it'd be; "Cute." Can he try that dress too?

He's not a crossdresser, he just likes spending time with you. And honestly? He doesn't care about clothes at all. "Clothes don't have gender."

Being thinner than a stick, Horror doesn't like when people look at him for too long... But he tolerates it with you.

Over the time, Horror starts trying to get you out of harms' way. If you do get in trouble for whatever reason... He'll gently bonk you over the head with his weapon club.

INSANITY

Insanity isn't really the brightest crayon in the box, or... At least, that's how he looks like at first sight. Just like Dust, Insanity has a habit of staring too. But unlike Dust, Insanity actually talks.

Insanity cackles whenever you show him off any clothes or if you show your sunshine demeanor.

He's creepy about you, but in like... An oblivious way. He just knows every single thing about you, before you even have the chance to tell him anything.

How does he know that you like this color? Purely from observation... (And some stalking)

He tilts his head often to the side (which is almost like a habit) when he sees you. It's like- an intense reaction to you.

He almost always wants to team up with you and Horror when on missions. Which is... Something Nightmare is puzzled by, but lets it sly.

INK

Owns a lot of pictures of you. He stole a camera from some AU just so he could take photos of you and him... Mostly you. He just wants to capture every part of you.

Speaking of capturing... You're pretty much his favorite muse. There's nothing he likes more than drawing you specifically.

Ink never actually tried digital art... But he is like an expert at traditional! His drawings of you look professional as hell. He's not being subtle when his drawings of you look much more detailed than his other stuff.

There's a lot of things that Ink forgets, hell- he even forgets what he's talking about most of the time, but he still somehow doesn't forget to tell you when he has to leave the Doodlesphere.

"Byee Muffin! I'll be going out!"

Ink has a habbit of mentioning you everywhere to everyone. He's like that one friend that can't stop talking about his super awesome partner. (Swap and Dream just nod politely but don't comment on it)

Both of his eyes immediately turn into hearts when he sees/hears you.

He writes little details about you as a reminder for himself on his scarf. Honestly, at this point? 90% of the stuff on his scarf is just informations about you.

ERROR

Error forgot how to genuinely love another person a long time ago... And while he may be skittish at times when it comes to affection... He has other ways of showing it.

Error likes knitting you different things. Mostly clothes, like scarfs, gloves, hats, etc. And you know he cares a lot about you when his work has tiny details woven in it.

That one time that you said you liked this animal? Boom! It's now incorporated in the hat he's been knitting you!

Gets strangely offended when someone even DARES to imply that he doesn't care about you. They must be crazy! (Acting as if he isn't the crazy one.)

Instead of giving you a hug (he can't because of Haphephobia) he'll wrap his strings around you instead. Sometimes even squeezes you.

Likes listening to you. He'll be content in just listening to you while he drifts off... Your voice is just so comforting to him.

While he doesn't enjoy when others get to him and make him lower his defenses... No one gets to him quite like you. In a good way, of course! He tries to get over his Haphephobia for you, so that he could actually touch you. But it's a long process.

DREAM

Good luck with getting this man to do anything that won't involve you. While he tries to keep you out of the way in battle... He gets really worried if he won't see you for a long period of time. So he takes you with him on his missions adventures.

It's usually the low-stakes missions, so he knows you'll be safe. He gets really frustrated with himself if the mission/adventure turned out to actually not be all that safe.

Dream likes to relax with you after a long day. Just... Sitting beside you, reading a book and not even saying anything while you do your own thing. That's peak relationship right there.

He doesn't like using his positivity on you. He only uses it on you if you specifically ask him for it... But other than that? He doesn't want you to experience fake emotions. That just feels awful, in his perspective.

Dream just always struck me as someone who has a very traditional way of looking at a relationship, so I think he'd basically do everything from holding your hand, kissing you (somehow)... No sex until marriage, unfortunately for you. But perhaps you could persuade him somehow.

NIGHTMARE

Sweet mercy, Nightmare is NOTHING like his brother. He doesn't "wait until marriage", nor does he hold your hand. One might call him.... A little freaky? But he's definitely treating you less like you're his partner and more like you're his property.

Don't let that fool you though... Being the partner of one of the most powerful monsters of all time has its perks.

And while Nightmare doesn't do "relationships", his inner other self (passive) is absolutely lovey-dovey in love with you that it's almost pathetic. At least... In Nightmare's eyes.

He sometimes randomly rolls his eyes, and you never know why. Little did you know that it's because his other self made some gushing, absolutely diabolically down-bad comment about you.

Nightmare never actually tells you that he loves you, or that he appreciates you... But he does show it in different ways. For example; your dates are the most EXPENSIVE things ever. Nightmare goes all out, despite calling you "his pet" constantly.

Him and his other self share at least one thing... They can't get enough of you.

SWAP

Swap is the most loving boyfriend on this list probably. He's not ashamed to scream his love for you from the rooftops!

He rather enjoys cooking for you. He makes sure to learn how to cook your favorite meal, no matter how hard or weird it might be! We love a good malewife in this household.

Swap carries you over puddles, and other things. He just likes holding you in his arms, honestly. (No, he definitely isn't doing it because he likes feeling you pressed to his body, nuh-uh!)

Swap makes sure to shower you in praise wherever you go or whatever you do. Even giving you indirect compliments... Like talking to his buddies, and suddenly, he's like; "[Name] is the best partner I could've ever gotten." Out loud so you can hear him.

Please, please wear his clothes more! He loves watching you drown in his fabric!

KILLER

Dating Killer is a wild ride, mostly because it's a gamble what kind of personality you'll get from him. But he remains... Pretty much the same with you. Or at least... Tries to.

Killer's honestly shocked that Nightmare let him date you. He cherishes that everyday!

If there's one thing you can expect from Killer... It's PDA. He's literally all over you (sometimes literally). Always has to at LEAST have his hand around your waist. No, he doesn't care if it makes anyone uncomfortable.

I feel like Killer wouldn't actually know a lot about dating... So he's just raw-dogging it half the time.

Killer has a tendency to get absolutely distracted when you enter the room. He literally has heart eyes for you.

He might even let you touch his knife... On the promise that you won't harm yourself.

He never planned to actually kidnap you from your clinic! It was an honest to God a mistake. You were just... In the way when he woke up in the hospital.

At first, he didn't care for you at all. Why would he? You're a stranger to him. Someone he has no feelings for. In his frizzled mind, you were just like all the other humans he had the displeasure of meeting.

But then... You stuck around. And for some reason, he decided against murdering you right there on the spot. Why? Why did he hesitate?

His breathing became slightly heavy when he saw you going to patch his arm, instead of running away. You're not making any sense. Any other normal human would run away by now... Especially when he had his weapon raised to your neck... So why didn't you run?

𝐉𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐒

- Despite everything, Jason actually found himself enjoying your company. He was a man of few words... So he never spoke to you. He couldn't even if he wanted to.

- He still doesn't understand why you didn't run away the first night when he brought you to his cabin by accident... But he doesn't dwell on it. Tries not to dwell on it.

- Tries to keep his distance from you a little bit... Mostly because you're still new to him, and Jason isn't used to company in his lonely cabin. He doesn't know how to approach you!

- He clearly appreciates your assistance when you patch him up though. There's just something incredible endearing about watching you fuss after he got a little scratched by one of the campers.

- it happened when he returned back to the cabin after another successful night of getting rid of the trash (campers)... He found his precious nurse... Climbing on the walls and the ceiling.

- Jason didn't understand anything at all... What were you really? He thought that you're just a simple nurse... Who would have thought that you have layers?

- You're the prettiest creature he's ever seen... Eight legs and you were massive? Wow... Jason might just fall in love with you right then and there.

- Now he doesn't have to worry about harming you when you're an eldritch being! Can he hug you like a teddy bear-? Ok, that may be too far.

- You've made Jason interested in you more than ever. It's almost entertaining watching him stare at you like you're a piece of art...

- He starts protecting you like you're a precious diamond. Better thank him later ;)

𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐒

- Yet another quiet one, who finds your whole existence tedious. He doesn't NEED a nurse, trying to take care of him. Does he look like he asked for your help??

- Why didn't he just kill you when he had the chance? Now he has to deal with this bullshit. Something that the Haddonfield killer doesn't want to concern himself with.

- And yeah, he could kill you now... But he may find you a little amusing.

- Michael doesn't acknowledge you at all most of the time. Even when you give him a bandaid. He just sits like a statue... And deeply sighs through his nose.

- You do have some qualities though... Like being a good distraction for Michael's victims.

- He doesn't care for you, but oops!! Why did he just decapitated someone for looking at you with want in their eyes?

- You have layers, but Michael has so much more than you.

- His genuine interest was peaked when he found you transformed out... He looked you over that night when it happened. And suddenly- oh. Everything makes so much more sense now.

- It's only when he finds your secret that he's genuinely intrigued by you. You're not just a nurse now! You're an eldritch being.

- Don't think that means you'll get different treatment though. You'll have to do better than that...

𝐁𝐔𝐁𝐁𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐖𝐘𝐄𝐑

- Bubba was SO stressed the entire time you clung to him. Mostly because he didn't know what to do!! These hands were made for chopping, baby. Not for... Whatever you're doing to his heart.

- Bubba doesn't know why you didn't run away when you first met him and his hideous face, nor does he know what's actually wrong with you??? But deep down, he's honestly glad that Drayton actually let him keep you.

- It's just nice to have an actual friend... Even though he doesn't know how to tell you that, without using physical affection. So he just often shyly holds your hand.

- Bubba often makes sure that you're save from his brothers' nagging and teasing... But it's hard when some of their teasing gets stuck inside his head.

- The moment he actually witnessed you turning into... That? His innocent nurse was gone... In its place was someone he doesn't feel worthy standing by!

- This was so embarrassing... Here you were, showing him your deepest secret, and he can't even look you in your eyes because he's just SO into this.

- Bubba honestly wouldn't even know that he might be a slight monster fucker... The signs were all there. Yet he's been blind to them. It was actually kinda impressive how oblivious he was when it came to the root of his feelings.

- You're very beautiful though!!! He makes sure to tell you that in his own, special way... (Yup. He gives you one of his human masks.)

- Bubba feels safe with you. But he always makes sure that you feel safe with him too!

𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐘 𝐊𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐑

- Eww stop touching him! Fucking hell- how did you even follow him back to the dream world?

- He's so, SO annoyed by your presence, which honestly makes it all very entertaining for you.

- Freddy isn't one to hold himself back... So he makes sure to tell you how annoying you're being. This is the dream world. He can't actually get hurt here, I hope you know that!

- For a reason undisclosed to you... He didn't harm you at all. And it may or may not be because Freddy (despite claiming to be annoyed with you) finds the way you manage to rile him up absolutely exhilarating. It's a completely new feeling! So of course he'll keep you around.

- When you first show him your actual form though? That of an eldritch being? Sweet mother to Jesus you're MASSIVE! And he's bricked up.

- No, but in all seriousness, he can't believe that you're not a human. He gets strangely... Bitter? About you not telling him the truth earlier.

- He doesn't talk to you for five minutes... Before going back over to you, and looking you up and down.

- Now, Freddy new deep inside that he's a freak, but dang. The emotional whiplash that you just gave him was incredible. He has a weird urge to see every inch of you.

- He slightly softens up around you after that. But it's only when you're in your eldritch form. Freddy just has weird kinks.

𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐘𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐄

- Honey he already knows. Like- there's literally no point in leading him on with your human disguise.

- Penny has this weird ability to figure out whether you're an eldritch being, and girl... He has been knowing!

- After managing to coax you out into revealing your true self...

- Girl, it's love at first sight. He NEVER wants you to go back to the human disguise. Gosh- you're gorgeous!

- Might lean against a pole and give you a wink while offering you a red balloon. "Well hellooo gorgeous~!" He sing-songs before giggling.

- Literally a match made in... Hell? He spends extra time in "courting you".

- Will flirt with you in a grotesque way. (But you might find it romantic). He rips out one of his victims' heart, and offers it to you. Calling you the most heart-stopping thing that he's seen ever since his existence.
