Flufftober day 2, Let's do it. This ain't as good as the last one because I'm kinda sick and can't focus, but it's longer than the other one. This is actually the story of how I got sick because I am an idiot xD
Pairing: Shinsou x reader
You were watching the raindrops that were falling against the window right in front of you. As soon as they reached it, it turned into a race about which one would reach the bottom of the window first.
And you, you were just sitting there on a chair, wrapped in a comfy blanket and trying to figure out what to do. That's when you remembered that you still needed something from the store. You looked outside your window once more, thinking that it wasn't raining that much and that you should be fine.
Oh boy how wrong you were.
The first few minutes of walking were completely fine, you didn't really feel cold and it wasn't raining much. But after a couple more minutes you realized how wrong you were. The rain became much more and the wind was getting faster, giving you a headache and it didn't take long until your ears started to hurt as well.
Turning around and walking back home wasn't an option on your mind, you only had to walk another five minutes until you would arrive at your destination.
Luckily, the store was much warmer than what you just had to experience but that also lead to you feeling the pain much more intense than before. You tried to hurry, wanting nothing more than to go back home, wait for your boyfriend and make him cuddle you all night.
While walking through the store, a small vibration caught your attention. You reached for your phone in your back pocket and unlocked it to see who texted you.
"Where are you? I just got home and all the lights are off"
Speaking of the devil, it was your boyfriend Hitoshi Shinsou.
"Don't worry" you replied, "Just had to go to the store, I'll be home in about 20 minutes"
"There's no way I'm letting you walk back home, it's fucking raining - a lot. I'll come and pick you up"
You knew that saying 'no' wouldn't change his mind so you just accepted his offer, not like this wasn't what you kinda had wished for anyway.
It didn't take long until you saw a car pull up in front of the store. You quickly paid and walked outside, only to be greeted with a judging look when you got into the car.
"You're soaked. Why didn't you wait until I came home? I could've drove you here you idiot"
You just smiled to yourself, knowing that he wasn't actually mad and that he was just worried about your health.
The drive back home was rather quiet, but not in a bad way. You both enjoyed the silence, it was nice not having to talk to not make it awkward.
After a good 10 minutes of driving, you both arrived at your home. You took your shoes off and wanted to walk the stairs up to your apartment, but two arms belonging to a certain somebody stopped your action.
Shinsou had wrapped one arm around your waist and the other one was going down your legs to pick you up.
He silently carried you bridal style into your bathroom where he told you to take a hot shower and then come to bed.
You did as you were told and quickly showered before you slipped into some comfy clothing and walked into your and Shinosu's bedroom, where he was already waiting for you, a cup of warm tea in one hand.
You smiled, pressing a small kiss to his cheek and laying down. Shinsou couldn't help but smile as well, placing the cup on the small nightstand right next to you. You sat up, slowly drinking the tea while your boyfriend lied down behind you, wrapping an arm around your torso.
You put the cup away and cuddled into his warm chest, looking up to him. His face reached down to your ear and you just heard one last thing before you drifted into a nice slumber.
