that being said, this really helped me get my catharsis. i’m gonna log out soon probably but before that i want to get my words down.
thank you all for everything. i had fun while i was at citta. all of tavros’s wacky relationships with the other homestucks. his cute but emotional relationship with @bunjijumping. modding citta mafia, creating all caps citta. doing what i could to contribute to this community and making it feel stronger.
i basically grew up with you guys, i was 15 when i first joined and heavily depressed/isolated. and now i’m 18 and i’m at university in my dream course, and i have a paid internship and it’s great. things aren’t perfect or magically cured but i think that while i had many missteps as a juvenile in this community, it really shaped me to be a better person with a strong support system.
i left citta for many, many personal reasons, and i don't regret doing that for my health, but... witnessing everyone come together today has made me inspired to plough through the tediousness of tumblr rp and come back to this community. because i miss you guys a lot. and this is really the place that i grew up with from 2015 all the way up until this year, despite all the problems i faced i still love you guys. the fact that we have all chosen to oust the group we have stayed in for years simultaneously, purely as an act of justice for the mod team who have spent years helping us... is heartwarming to me.
that being said, if you still feel that staying in citta is viable, please reconsider. abuse is a serious issue. everyone who made citta great, and everything that made citta great, is not going to be here anymore.
i’ll be seeing you all in isola, as tavros, with all his citta memories retained (with mod permission). this blog is going to stay an archive.
