Seeing variants of people she'd known always felt strange, but variants of Steve were always the hardest.

She'd loved her Steve, and a part of her loved his variants, even though they weren't him. Seeing Steve with the serum also choked her up a bit, this was how it was supposed to be before she took the serum.

Peggy straightened her spine the moment she saw the Sacred Timeline version of Steve.

After they had transported Loki into a secure cell, the whole team ended up around a rickety table eating the best goddamn schwarma Hawk had ever had in his life.

Now that the smoke had cleared, Hawk finally had the chance to look at the team around him.

"So... what do you guys want to do later?" Tony asked with a sigh. Everyone else was still eating, but the billionaire seemed to have scarfed down his food.

Hawk hadn't thought that a later was even possible earlier today. He looked around the table, his eyes landing on the other scientist on the team.

Steve shoved Bruce's food out of the way because that comment seemed to take the last of the man's energy and the next second the brunette's head hit the table.
