Make it seem not quite so bad because it could’ve been a lot worse, they were glad they woke up when they did. This was the first time he’d actually managed to get some proper shut eye since the two of them returned after fusing. He’d definitely struggled with readjusting to life, its hard. He’d almost cut himself off from everyone completely, well other than yubel,haou and instructor daitojiki (atleast his ghost who pretty much lives in pharaohs stomach) and other things, although recently he had a suspicion that something was bothering yubel and them calling his name at the middle of the night was enough proof for that, he didn’t mind being woken up because he was kind of getting use to the lack of Sleep “Yubel, is something wrong?”

He could tell they weren’t being truthful even if it was just small little signs he could just tell. Maybe judai had just got good at noticing little things or it was just a hunch but it was noticeable to him that yubel wasn’t as ok as they say they were. Why they didn’t feel they could tell him what was wrong wasn’t exactly clear but the two of them should trust each other, after all their souls were one now so shouldn’t they be able to tell each other about anything that troubled them both. “Yubel. You don’t have to lie, we can trust eachother.”

“I know and I do trust you, Judai, I do. You saved me from myself.” Their smile was soft and wistful, they were trying. They really were. They reached out, the very tip of their claws running delicately through his hair. “But compared to what you’ve been facing recently, it really is nothing. Please, dearest, go back to sleep.”

Well. Now he sorta understood why they didn't want to tell him. "i guess that's why you didn't want to tell me" he was actually kind of like that too at first after their return yubel had helped him with his nightmares then, so he figured that it would be appreciated if he helped them with theirs. With a tone that seemed calm and understanding yet kinda sad "do you want to talk about it..? Its alright if you don't."

“Because I realized how reckless you have been in the past…. And that it’s mainly been my fault for the reason why. I just… Don’t want to lose you.” He sounded sad.

Johan choked up at that. “So getting yourself possessed by a genocidal king isn’t reckless? Or using a spell card to fuse with…. That?” He was almost screaming by then.

Johan nodded, not sure what to say or do. He didn’t even know what was going on at the time. Seeing as he wasn’t even there. He moved over to Judai, and gave him a big hug, trying to comfort him.

Tears started dwelling in his eyes. “i just remember being so enraged and bloodthirsty wanting to kill brron for it…” it really did hurt emotionally recalling all of it “he would’ve killed sho too if he’d been in the exact same spot as they were i was really relieved when i saw he was alive but the relief was really short lasted as…” he seemed to pause as in hesitance for a moment he guessed he could probably describe this bit as the start of the trigger

“Hey… Shhhh. You don’t need to say it if ya don’t want to.” Johan said softly, knowing how distressed Judai appeared. He hugged the other tighter, letting him cry it out if he needed to. “Let’s just try to forget this whole thing happened, and vow not to be so reckless, hm?”

The brunette just seemed speechless after that as he hugged back tightly almost sobbing onto the others shirt. Judai really couldn’t help getting like this whenever these memories made a frequent return to him. There was just so much guilt and despairity from it all and it seemed to reduce one who would usually seem as confident and full of energy down to a literal emotional wreck. He wanted to forget it all but its really hard to forget such a traumatic thing as it would sometimes bring back PTSD for him every now and then “i.. Don’t know if i can forget it…”

He just let the other cry it out, being there for him, as a comforting presence. “Have you ever thought about getting some sort of therapy for it?” Johan said softly, not wanting to sound patronising or offensive. “Because it might actually help.”

Wow, he was not expecting that. “You want my opinion on the matter?” He asked softly. He thought about the pros and cons of it. After a while he finally spoke. “I think it would be a good idea to. But make sure this time that nothing gets forgotten, so nothing bad can happen his time.” That was the best answer he could come up with.

He felt a sense of relief hearing that from the other, he was just glad that johan had put in consideration about what happened the last time he had gotten therapy because it really was crucial that his memory stayed in tact this time for Everyone’s safety. “Thank you.” while he was more assured about getting therapy he knew to himself that it was not something he could do alone if he was going to do it he needed someone to be there with him. “Johan.. If i get therapy… Would you…” he paused for a moment trying to get the words out “Would you come with me?.. It might seem stupid but i feel like this is something i can’t do alone..and if i wanted anyone to help me go through with it… It’d be you Trust me it does feel stupid of me to want it but i can’t help it..”

“You don’t even need to ask silly. I made a promise to protect you, and support you, not matter what.” Johan chuckled a little. He was glad that Judai had agreed to his idea. “I have a feeling this time will be better, and nothing bad will happen.”

He wasn't as sure as the other was about his feeling but for now he decided to trust the others feeling "I hope so" he then tightly hugged johan starting to tear up slightly again but rather this time they were mostly happy tears, tears of relief "Johan, thank you so much... I'll do it then, im glad to have someone like you as a boyfriend" a small smile had crept up on his face as well.
