“Is that a problem?” Bastion replied warily.
He had the clothes on his back and a terribly made spear pointed in the spirit’s direction. It had been an automatic reaction; Tania had drilled safety and survival into his head so he could at least keep himself out of trouble while she went looking for supplies and information. He’d been caught off guard. This spirit… He’d never seen one like this before. Either he was finally going mad or the Supreme King problem had gotten far worse than he could have ever imagined.
Because for some strange reason, this half dragon creature looked and sounded a lot like his classmate and peer and friend Jun Manjoume. And Bastion wasn’t entirely sure he liked the implications of this.
"Not in itself, no." Jun was cautious when he stepped closer, but that was just common sense in a place like this. The pitiful spear pointed at him wasn't the slightest bit intimidating to someone clad in dragon scales, but this form exposed enough skin that he didn't want to risk being caught off guard.
"Everyone should carry a little darkness within themselves." His eyes narrowed. "But you- something's wrong. You've picked a side, haven't you?"
