I know, I have been gone. Miss me? Great, glad to hear we’re on the same page. 

I thought this would be a really fun collaboration with Take It Easy Tiger, I’m really happy with how these photos turned out and will be submitting to Apartment Therapy, The Design Sponge and all that good stuff. Where else do you think we should submit?

This is probably how you shouldn't dress for a winter in NYC, but you know what? Stuff happens. It was pretty cold for a West Coaster so I didn't let Lade snap as many as he could but I just love a good Lazy Sunday outfit!

Wearing: Aritzia bustier tank, Urban Outfitters moto jacket, American Apparel pants, Calvin Klein heels (I found at Ross 2 years ago hah), my Etsy found “CHALINE” (a hoodrat Celine…she will be real one day team, one day soon!) bag, I found the accessories randomly at a shop in K-town, target belt.

I need to make my musical palette more indie/non-rap-top 40 heavy. I'm a dancer and I used to work in radio so that's what I'm usually exposed to! No excuses though, I need to live up to my musical prowess rep. 

I caught this song thanks to Complex's Best Songs of 2013 So Far list and it just fits in the Fall in the city vibe perfectly...with the perfect supporting beat so it's not TOO emo-centric despite the lyrics. It's the kind of song you put on a playlist before you say goodbye to someone and kiss them sweetly. 

My lil’ sister from another mister Wanita took these literally outside of my house in Newcastle before I went back to NYC. Gotta love unexpected backdrops!

Holy moly, insomnia! For some reason lately (again), I haven't been sleeping until 3 (4:37 AM now editing this post). I thought I was getting better, I just gotta meditate more. At least I am now prepared for a rockstar lifestyle that is to come my way in the near future! Muhahah. You'll find that I always see a silver lining in everything, how non-NYC of me. :P. But everything in God's timing and reasoning, amen? Amen. 

But my lost equals your gain! Wanita took these 2 weeks ago when she visited. It's so nice to see this city through a tourist's eyes because they remind you of the excitement you initially felt moving to city. We stopped by The NYC Library on 5th, Times Square and Grand Central all in one day. We even managed to go to the Empire State Building after. I underestimated how cold it was up there so I literally took two pictures and called it good --- next time! It's definitely a good spot for all you hopeless romantics like me. 

I had a coffee date with my girl Dana. Bryant Park is so gorg. I love that playing tourist here truly never gets old. 

I had a Sunday Funday with one of my best friends in the city, Sabine. We went to church (or she did -__-), I barely caught the last part of the sermon where you raise your hand to accept God...gotcha there Jesus...it's like showing up to the birthday party only when the person blows out the candles.

Timeliness, I'm working on it, hah, but it was a good day to talk about our faith and ambitions of music domination. I literally threw this outfit on because I was trying to haul ass to church. I got this cute mani from Lady Fancy Nails during NYFW and it kept for some time, this pic was after 1 whole week!
