"The Birds Don't Sing" is a poignant track from Clipse's fourth studio album, Let God Sort Em Out (2025). Featuring John Legend and the Voices of Fire gospel choir, the song addresses deep personal loss, guilt, and reflection, particularly surrounding the deaths of the duo's parents. Produced by Pharrell Williams, it blends Clipseās introspective lyricism with John Legendās soulful vocals and powerful gospel influences.

I flew from Fort Lauderdale to Fayetteville, Arkansas, just to see Clipse live at JJās Live ā and it turned into one of the best experiences of my life.
From checking into the Hyatt (where I actually saw them chilling in the lobby š) to holding that signed merch on the plane, every moment felt surreal.
The meet & greet was unforgettable ā I brought $200 bills and a $2 bill, and yes, Malice and Pusha signed them along with their VIP merch. Malice even dropped a Bible verse with me, Genesis 4:9: āAm I my brotherās keeper?ā And honestly, they felt like the big brothers I never had.
The concert itself? Pure energy. The VIPs stuck together like family, and the crowd went crazy when I got everyone to yell Happy Birthday Malice! Two days late, but the love was real.
This wasnāt just a show ā it was a journey, a memory Iāll carry forever.
What about you ā would you travel states away just to see your favorite artist live?

"Let God Sort Em Out" Rap Album by the brother duo CLIPSE; Malice x Pusha T, is slated to be Rap Album of the Year.
The albumās one sonic misstep is opener The Birds Donāt Sing, its big John Legend-sung chorus venturing into a poppy commerciality that sits awkwardly with Clipseās USP, but the track is redeemed by its lyrics, a depiction of the near-simultaneous deaths of the brothersā parents that rains one emotional blow after another on the listener: āThe way you missed mama, I guess I should have known / Chivalry aināt dead, you aināt let her go alone.ā Itās new emotional territory for Clipse, who up to now didnāt really do vulnerable, and proof that Let God Sort Em Out offers far more than nostalgia: familiar but fresh, itās one of the albums of the year.
