Holy moly, insomnia! For some reason lately (again), I haven't been sleeping until 3 (4:37 AM now editing this post). I thought I was getting better, I just gotta meditate more. At least I am now prepared for a rockstar lifestyle that is to come my way in the near future! Muhahah. You'll find that I always see a silver lining in everything, how non-NYC of me. :P. But everything in God's timing and reasoning, amen? Amen. 

But my lost equals your gain! Wanita took these 2 weeks ago when she visited. It's so nice to see this city through a tourist's eyes because they remind you of the excitement you initially felt moving to city. We stopped by The NYC Library on 5th, Times Square and Grand Central all in one day. We even managed to go to the Empire State Building after. I underestimated how cold it was up there so I literally took two pictures and called it good --- next time! It's definitely a good spot for all you hopeless romantics like me. 

You know how people say they see things in black and white when things are tough or not going their way? I'm kinda experiencing just that. I am seeing things in black and white. (And my outfit yesterday is black and white too. Okay? Okay.)

I want to quote a line from my favorite book as of the moment (Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider) because of some reasons. So here it goes:

I wondered what things became when you no longer needed them, and I wondered what the future would hold once we'd gotten past our personal tragedies and proven them ultimately survivable.
