I’m just going to steer away from my usual content and post something rather important. TW: talks of sex, cnc, coercion, SA, those things.
CNC and sexual coercion are two completely different entities. One is consensual, the other is not.
One. Is. Consensual. The. Other. Is. Not.
You should not be guilted into having sex with someone, regardless of who they are to you. Whether it’s your partner, spouse, family member, stranger, it doesn’t fucking matter who it is, you should not be forced to have sex or feel like you have to “give in”.
If you have sexual boundaries that the other person refuses to listen to, that is assault. If you keep saying no but they keep telling you why they’re doing this until they tear you down to where you say yes, that is assault. If they pester you so much that you give in to make them stop bothering you, that is assault. If you are doing something just to make the other person happy although you do not want to do it, that is assault. If you are not happy to be having sex, having a sex act performed on you, or you performing a sex act, that is assault.
CNC is consensual non-consent. Meaning, you’ve had a discussion beforehand, it’s been agreed upon by everyone involved, and it’s something that all parties want to be involved in. There isn’t any real guilt involved, any true anger, any true fear for your safety, and there is respect.
Consent is sexy, fucking forcing someone to give into sex by any means is not.
“No” fucking means no. “Im not in the mood” fucking means no. “Wait” fucking means no. “I don’t know” fucking means no. “I don’t want to” fucking means no. “Stop” fucking means no.
If it’s not a yes, it’s a FUCKING NO.
