fascists have always tried to control art. by labelling certain types of art as degenerate you control what kind of culture is seen as degenerate

Fascists are also FUCKING terrible at making art. And at media analysis. Like, the Romans weren't the best society, but they made some aquaducts and columns and painted some statues. And then fascists, trying to conceive of what it must be like to have a braincell, saw crumbling columns and eroded marble statues and thought "ah, yes, this is what art must be"

I think the fast paced society we live in currently has brainwashed me into thinking i can upgrade myself and my life just as fast as when i restart my computer or phone. I have forgotten the natural cycles of life… how the moon takes her time to be full or how the crops take their time to grow their fruits.
