Give me all your love now

They always say you should love yourself.

Love yourself first, they say.

But there's this predicament in this statement. Because if one knows self-love, they can love themselves in any version. Even if they shouldn't.

I've grown to love myself in any state. Even if that means loving me while only being a glimmer of who I once was.

And because I still know how to love that version of me, I keep myself put.

I've learnt to stay humble, grounded and grateful.

Even if I don't like it here.

I should stay graceful for myself, yes.

But I should put more love towards who I was.

Not the version I am now, in which I've learnt to tuck everything away neatly.

So yeah

I've done a lot of things wrong, loving me being one.

Luckily I'm not all gone.
