can I ask what changed your opinions about 911?
bobby dying to be honest :-((( i think it changed the entire trajectory of the show and they haven't to get back on track :/
plot line after plot line that no one in their right mind cares about (i don't care about athena being a fucking cop!!!! i dont watch this show for whatever case shes on!!!!!!!) or actual interesting plots that are carted away and moved on from after 2.5 seconds. i think it was easier to forgive the show for being really bad when at least we had bobby lol.
most of s9 was awkward grieving that rarely made me feel anything other than anger for how fucking stupid it was to kill bobby off. or, like i said, when they did choose something interesting, it dropped off immediately and decided instead to show us another scene of athena talking to some fuck ass cops.
buck and eddie being separated, barely interacting in the season, and when they do, its just BARELY expanded upon after that fucking episode!!!!! mind you they have no clue what to do with eddie when he's not with buck. just make them get together. get the show back on the rails - make the episodes more focused on character relationships & interesting 911 calls that represent what the characters are going thru
