I wholeheartedly believe that of all Olympian brothers and sisters Hermes had, Dionysus was his favorite. And I think the feeling was mutual.

Synopsis:

A quick shopping trip turns catastrophic when Aizawa and Hizashi find their quirks forcibly swapped, leaving both of them to learn how to exist in bodies that no longer feel entirely their own.

As a rule, Aizawa avoided the mall. "It's not like I need anything," he argued. "And there are much more important things I could be doing with my free time."

"Like what?" Hizashi asked him.

"Like the sixteen essays I still need to mark before next Tuesday. Or the lesson plan for the rescue heroics classes I'm planning to cover next week, or…"

Hizashi silenced him with a wave of his hand. "Shouta, free time should be spent doing something fun."

"Shopping isn't fun, Hizashi. It's an endurance test."

Hizashi laughed and slung an arm casually around his friend's shoulders. "Shopping with me is fun. And by the way, as for not needing anything, I'd argue that you could use an entire wardrobe update. The whole emo/goth aesthetic is fine, but don't you want a break from it sometimes?"

Warily eyeing the groups of colorfully clad people talking, shopping and eating snacks, Aizawa shook his head. "I dress for stealth," he said.

Hizashi laughed. "Lies. You told me yourself that you dress that way so you don't have to think about whether your clothes match."

Finished the Vanilla King's descendant, time to get things sorted for a new post linked in the pinned post so ppl can find the Gingergang ~w~ expect at least one other post for that coming soon. Design stuff under cut!

I am completely new to this fandom. I know I'm late to the party, I've been seeing people mention it on Tumblr for years, but my niece has finally succeeded after months of trying to drag me kicking in screaming into another full-blown obsession. So, that's fun.

Please forgive, and feel free to critique, and OOC-ness, because I really do love these characters and I want to get them right.

In addition, this is the first fic I've written in almost two years, so... wow. That's a long time. I may be a little rusty. I mean, I hope not, but I figure it's probably inevitable. That is why I am so incredibly nervous about posting again, even though it's only a silly little sickfic.

Anyway, I hope to stick around this fandom, and if I do, you can probably expect far angstier pics than this offering, but this was a bit of a warm-up to get me started.
