Fenrys and Vaughan: The book Sarah J. Maas should write.
This came to me in a dream, bear with me.Â
We open in Terrasen and get a grasp of what’s happening there. How is everyone and what they have been up to after the war.Â
Fenrys is lonely and depressed, doesn’t have much to do.
They are concerned about Vaughan as he is the last member of the Cadre not yet sworn into Aelin’s court and he could have been loyal to Maeve. He could start a war against them.
Fenrys is sent on a solo quest to find him, they think it will be good for him to get out of the castle.Â
He finds Vaughan and the world seems to stop. The both have the “omg we’re mates” moment.Â
Maeve was hiding their mating bond because she thought if they were together and they both hate her they could get the rest of the cadre on their side and stage a coup.
There is some angsty stuff, they debate going back to Terrasen.Â
Some good Hurt/Comfort content.
I guess there needs to be a plot somewhere but that can be Sarah J. Maas’s problem. They go off to do the plot stuff.Â
They go back to Terrasen, we see their reactions to them being mates.Â
everyone is happy, they get married.Â
everyone one lives happily ever after, no one dies, the end.Â
Idk, I think it works. Feel free to send my asks explaining why I am violently incorrect.Â
