"Hello, Witchling"

Celeana sat on the couch of her and Sam’s new loft holding a hot chocolate. Sam was across the room standing on a rickety chair placing a star on top of their yulemas tree. She smiled, in a few months they could be far away from here. 

“Perfect” Sam said as he straightened the star atop the tree. He walked over and gave her a kiss as she handed him the other mug of hot chocolate sitting on the end table. 

“Looks great. What else is on the agenda for today?” 

Sam gestured to the window, “well, considering we are snowed in I would say probably just this.”

It was nice to have a day off when she didn’t have to be an assassin, especially during the holidays. She grabbed a book from across the room and then settled back on the couch into Sam’s arms. He kissed the top of her head.

The fireplace crackled across the room. It reminded her of another life where fire had crackled through her own viens, a life she had been trying to forget. Trying to figure out how she could take the leap and leave it behind for good. She looked over at Sam’s gleaming smile, perhaps she could manage.  

“What are you reading?” He asked. 

“Some type of holiday story,” she responded, “it is very cheesy.” 

“Could you read me some of it?”  He asked. She nodded and began to read. 

They stayed there the rest of the day bundled up in blankets and wrapped in each other's arms. It was Sam’s best and last holiday season. 

aThis is hard so I’m just doing the important members of Dorian and Aelin’s Courts. This is the actors and actresses I would want in a live action TOG TV show/movie. 

This came to me in a dream, bear with me. 

We open in Terrasen and get a grasp of what’s happening there. How is everyone and what they have been up to after the war. 

Fenrys is lonely and depressed, doesn’t have much to do.

They are concerned about Vaughan as he is the last member of the Cadre not yet sworn into Aelin’s court and he could have been loyal to Maeve. He could start a war against them.

Fenrys is sent on a solo quest to find him, they think it will be good for him to get out of the castle. 

He finds Vaughan and the world seems to stop. The both have the “omg we’re mates” moment. 

Maeve was hiding their mating bond because she thought if they were together and they both hate her they could get the rest of the cadre on their side and stage a coup.

There is some angsty stuff, they debate going back to Terrasen. 

Some good Hurt/Comfort content.

I guess there needs to be a plot somewhere but that can be Sarah J. Maas’s problem. They go off to do the plot stuff. 

They go back to Terrasen, we see their reactions to them being mates. 

everyone is happy, they get married. 

everyone one lives happily ever after, no one dies, the end. 

It’s been a while since I have written headcanons but I’m re-reading ACOSF and feel inspired. ACOSF SPOILERS!!!!

Cassian’s love language is touch. It is throughout the books, not just with Nesta but if comes up a lot in ACOSF. I think he is a hug person and I can see him being all gross from battle and going to hug Nesta and her being like “...no”

Nesta’s love language is words of affirmation. If she tells you she loves you, she genuinely means it and it means a lot. She uses her words as a weapon to shield herself and when she lets that shield down she truly trusts you. 

Nesta braiding Cassian’s hair. Like, they are just bored and he is reading a book or something and she just braids it. She does fancy ones too and one time Rhys calls Cassian to his house in the middle of the night for some kind of court business and they are all just admiring how great his hair looks. 

Cassian can always make Nesta laugh, he loves to see her so carefree and happy. 

Nesta gets very worried when Cassian goes on missions but would never let it show. He gets hurt one time and she goes full over protective mate until he is healed. 

Double dates with Gwyn and Azriel are a must. I’m working on a oneshot for it. The four of them getting lunch together, Cass and Az catching up and Nesta and Gwyn discussing new Valkyrie techniques. 

They babysit for Rhys and Feyre all the time and get in trouble when one day Feyre comes to pick Nyx up from the House of Wind and he is holding a wooden sword. 

“Are you teaching my baby how to fight?!?”  “....no?” “Swords are not for children!” “Don’t leave your child with your general and a Valkyrie then!” 

Nesta still helps in the library and takes over some of the training from Cassian. He still helps sometimes but he is also very busy with the million things Rhys has him doing. They also go on courtier missions together and have fun with some of them, the fancy dinners and the dancing always make Nesta happy and she loves playing diplomat. 

Ok so I think Azriel is going to end up with Gwyn. I’m going to be honest, if it is really cheesy and she is a “light singer” or whatever I don’t care. I think it would be kind of cute. I think there could be a battle scene with the both singing and the shadows and the light weave together to defeat their enemies. I like the aesthetic of it. 

Fenrys: *scream*

Lorcan, Rowan, and Aedion: *stumble out of tent with swords*

Raccoon that was trying to take their food: *offended*

Aedion and Fenrys: *tries to set up a tent*

Aelin: Didn't you both use to live in the wilderness?

Fenrys: We need a fire to roast marshmallows.

Aelin: ok *lights near by tree on fire*

Rowan: those are just glow-in-the-dark stickers you put on the ceiling.
