Cooper is a dweller of a Wild West-ish vault, where he's the sheriff (the position instead of the overseer). Their underground ranch is running out of supplies, and he bravely decides to venture out in search of a better place for his people. And… he runs into Dr. Wilzig and an outlaw by the name of Lucy MacLean in Filly. Cooper tries to de-escalate the conflict politely (Vault style), calling her "Miss." She laughs, points a gun at him, calls him an idiot, and, mockingly, with a smirk, "Puss in Boots."

Cooper (tied up, slightly tortured and shocked, drinking irradiated water): Why is such a beautiful miss... doing such horrible things?
