Her fears have always been her own. Sharing the inner workings of her mind has never been an easy task for Ravenna. Maybe it is a Damodred curse... maybe it was a punishment for the horrible deeds Laman Damodred had plagued the world with that had made every generation to come in their family to become unable to be transparent with the people they cared for; Rand being one of such. It wasn't exactly a secret that the younger Damodred had developed feelings for the Dragon Reborn, so much so that Moiraine had expressed her concerned on the matter but she was not the type to fawn over anyone, not in the sense that would blind her to the reality of their world. Being attuned with the needs of others, with the needs of destiny, has been one of her saving graces since her abandonment of the White Tower and because of it she had decided to live her life as a recluse in the two rivers, Ravenna just hadn't expected to be swept into the wave of the final battle, she hadn't expected to reconnect with her aunt, the only person that has ever treated her with respect and pride. And she certainly hadn't expected to fall for Rand of all people.
