i love the idea that charr have all the marks of an incredibly advanced industrial civilization, language, culture, art, science, all that, but STILL indulge in Inexplicable Cat Bullshit nobody quite understands, least of all themselves. bajra coppermane revolutionises the field of explosives then goes and sits in a box for a while just because it was out. what the fuck is she gonna do? not sit in it? I finally did a legit ref for Darijja!! When going out adventuring she obvs wears armor, but I wanted to design her casual clothes. They're a mix between Asuran and Elonian design, because her adoptive parents are Elonian but they didn't want her to be completely separated from Asuran culture. Her favorite God is Kormir, hence giving her a sun insignia.
And yes, she has prosthetic legs, and yes the feet are, in fact, subtly modeled after dog paws. :P

Second day of the march from Lionās Arch to Gay Rat City Rata Sum. On our way we found some homophobic Ettins that tried to block our parade from completing!
But that didnāt stop us!
Thank you so much everyone that made it to Tyria Pride. This is an event I look forward to every year and by far my favorite GW2 event. I always leave these with warm fuzzy feelings, happy to know there so many other LGBT+ people out there like me.

FRIENDZ
Just found out about the whole GW2Friendship thing, and thought it sounded like exactly my sort of thing to talk about, because friendship is super important to me and because this game gives me so many emotions related to that.
So, Iāll say that the story of this friendship may not be really anything special, but it still matters deeply to me. This is the tale of three friends; me, Fox (@fouquesartcornerā) and Soda (@radioactivesoda-gw2ā).
We met a while ago, in a different fandom (Invader Zim, to be exact). We became fast friends, and eventually Fox introduced me to GW2. I instantly fell in love; the lore, the races, the gameplay--and, best of all, we could play together. Normally I hate MMORPGs, but GW2 was different. You could play all alone if you wanted, but you can just as easy run around with friends. Fox showed me the ropes, and we played on and off for a while. Even when we both fell out of IZ, we still had GW2 to play and interact together with.
For Soda, life got in the way for a bit, and we both moved on from IZ and slowly started talking less and less. We drifted, as friends are wont to do sometimes. And then Soda got introduced to GW2 and suddenly we had common ground again. Suddenly we had a way to interact again, and through Soda, the Misfit Krewe was born. Together, Fox, Soda and I created a Krewe of oddball Asura, and talking about their misadventures brought us closer than ever. It also made running around as our respective characters so much more fun, as we could use moments of our gameplay to inspire events for the Krewe.
Which brings me to the screenshot above, which was one of my favorite moments where the three of us were running around. It was in Elona, and Soda (playing Khallalh) decided to start dancing on top of a sleeping human--which spawned the events u see above. :P
tl;dr, thanks to GW2 I was able to reconnect to an old friend, and was able to deepen and strengthen another friendship.
