10 facts about Kymber? o3o
1 - Kym is as large as she is (roughly 11-12ft when not standing up straight, as Charr do) because she suffers from a very severe case of Gigantism.
2 - She’s been bullied because of her size – it made her an easy target for Fahrar-banter during her first few weeks in there – , but Kymber’s shown the bullycats who thought she was an easy target that she wasn’t afraid to use her claws and fists to convince them that she was as Charr as any of ‘em.
3 - The Fang Warband, the merry bunch of Battlecats she calls her family, are a Blood Legion scouting party. Kym is often too big to be of proper use on actual scouting missions, but she’ll always lie in waiting to assist her Band where she can!
4 - She has a house near the Ashford Forum. It’s not really properly sized, it was built for her – using only estimations and predictions – before her growth spurt tossed her to her current size, but it’s handy for if she needs a place to seek shelter in during stormy nights or days! If she even -is- around there when a storm hits, she’s usually just in the Citadel with her Warband.
5 - Kymber is a bit of a metalworker, though she doesn’t do it the way Charr usually do. Using tool and claw, Kym creates surprisingly detailed flowers out of scrap metal and small pebbles and crystals. Sometimes cast, sometimes just literally scrap-flowers, Kym enjoys the quiet and steady feel this gives her life sometimes.
6 - She’s a wanderer. It took her quite some time to balance this out with her Warband, but in the end an unspoken accord was reached; She can travel alone if she wants to, but for every day spent out of the Warband’s company she has to spent a day -in- their company as well. It wasn’t literally agreed on, but over time this system simply came to be.
7 - Exactly -because- she’s a wanderer, she’s seen quite a bit of Ascalon and the rest of Tyria. Her travels led her far and wide, but despite the fact that she has seen a lot of it already… revisiting places isn’t boring for her. Deep down she really wishes to see Orr sometime, but she also knows she might never get there.
8 - She became somewhat infamously known because of an event that occured when she was a cub. Naturally, because of her gigantism, she was larger and stronger than other cubs of the same age. At one point there was a wrestling tournament amongst cubs, two to three years before they became ‘of age’. Of course it wasn’t really -fair- that Kym was allowed to join, but she quite literally lobbed the competition out of the ring in very short and boring matches. From that day on her age-mates thought twice before attacking her with intent to harm.
9 - Kym doesn’t particularly know why, but she has a fascination witih Asura.
10 - Rebellish appearances aside, Kym really is a softy for Charr standards. If she can she’d rather avoid needless combat, though she doesn’t shy away from it at all should the need to fight arise. In the Warband this has led her to become a sort of ‘mom’ figure, and everyone who hurts her bandmates had better find a very strong door to put between her and them..
