List of WWE Royal Rumble winners, records, statistics, trivia, entrance numbers, Iron Man, most eliminations, and more.
Kane is quite possibly the greatest performer in Royal Rumble history. Â I don't know if anyone will surpass Kane in both appearances and total eliminations. Â As of this comment, he is seventh in cumulative minutes having been in the Royal Rumble for a title time of 3:19:40. Â To crack the top five he would need 28 minutes. Â (Shawn Michaels is fifth). Â But since he isn't active anymore (unless he makes some surprise appearances, that won't happen). When looking for most total eliminations and minutes in Royal Rumble history, I came across this site. Â (I like stats). Â It's a comprehensive resource for statistics, records, trivia and facts. Â It's update with each year's Royal Rumble match. Â I give whoever keeps track the utmost credit.
I had the edition of WWE Magazine where they did a feature on Shelton Benjamin working towards getting into WWE. Â Incredible. Â Getting into WWE or doing something you love for 20-years is an accomplishment a lot never see or even care to have much of a career in wrestling in general. But Shelton Benjamin did and does. Â Congratulations.
So crazy that former TNA commentator Don West passed away. Â Cancer is a bitch. Rest in peace.
ICYMI: Kairi is the first IWGP Women's Championship. Â She defeated Mayu Iwatani in the finals of a six-women tournament Historic X-Over (pronounced Historic Crossover) on November 20, 2022.
Congrats to Kairi.

Today marks 17-years since the Eddie Guerrero passed. Rest in peace, Eddie
Antonio Inoki has passed away. Â He has been dealing with health issues in recent years. He is traveled the world perfecting his craft all while leaving a legacy that will never be duplicated. Â He faced the likes of Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Vader, William Regal, Giant Baba, Billy Robinson, Bob Backlund, among others. Â One of his most famous bouts was against Muhammad Ali on June 26, 1976. Â It was billed as "The War of the World. Inoki founded New Japan Pro-Wrestling on January 13, `1972 after leaving Japan Pro Wrestling. Â He grew it to be one of the biggest and most legendary promotions (even though they had a decline in the 2000s).He is one of the most important figures in not just Japanese wrestling, but in all of wrestling. He was 79. Â Rest in peace, Antonio-san.
Triple H is very candid and honest. Â A definite must-see interview. Â Phenomenal.
This has been a damn good feud. The 14A rating has been seen in segments like this. Really letting the personal stuff fly. This should be a great match.
WWE Legends: Degeneration X
Finished watching "WWE Legends" biography on Degeneration X. Â Such an eye opening watch. Â It shows how good of a guy Triple H is by letting the past be the past and giving people like Road Dogg and Shawn Michaels a second chance. People can say what they want about Triple H, but if you watch this biography, you'll change your mind about him. Â A better man then any of us knew. Great eye opening piece that pulled back the curtain. Â I give everybody the utmost respect for getting through their dark times and finding the light.

Dr. Brian Sutter explains Cody Rhodes’ injury.
The world is mourning the loss of WWE Hall of Famer, Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon. He made a big name for himself as Razor Ramon when he signed to the WWF in 1992. Hall would be thrust into a WWF Championship match at Royal Rumble 1993 against champion Bret "Hitman" Hart. Even though he was unsuccessful at capturing the WWF Championship, he would go to be the first four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion and would have some spectacular ladder matches against Shawn Michaels. He also shook things up in WCW as part of The Outsiders and and a founding member of the nWo. nWo helped fuel the Monday Night Wars. Many see that as the height of professional wrestling. You also can’t forget his selling at of the Stone Cold Stunner at WrestleMania 18. He died after being taken off life support from multiple heart attacks due to complications from hip surgery. He inspired a many of this generation's wrestlers and was a favourite to many throughout the world. He was 63. Rest in peace, Chico
Mean Gene Okerlund was a big part of my childhood.  The most iconic backstage interviewer of all-time.  He would take no shit from anybody. He had an unparalleled 38-year career. His most hilarious blooper was at SummerSlam 1989 during a backstage interviewer with then Intercontinental Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude.  The SummerSlam sign fell and he said "fuck it."  Will never cease to be funny. He would have turned 79.  Rest in Peace, Mene Gene.
It is with great sadness to announce, for those that don't know, that Jimmy Rave has passed away. I followed him on my wrestling Twitter. He had to retire from wrestling. He had his left arm amputated. He messaged me, and probably others, and was looking for people to send him via PayPal so he could get a prosthetic arm. I understand why he was asking. He also had to get both legs amputated back in October. He had a form of staph infection (MRSA) which is harder to treat than others. Not sure the cause of death. Â But he was only 39. Â Rest in peace, Jimmy. -Mr. C.C.
Wrestling is not just about being in front of the camera, in the ring, etc..  It’s about doing things backstage that is not so glamorous. People asks for autographs.  You can rest assured that even though you might not get the autograph from him in person, he signs each everyone by hand which can amount to thousands at the most.  You have to respect John Cena for signing each and everyone.

This one hurts. Â "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff passed away today. Â He wasn't in good health. Â He was apparently suffering from dementia. In 2017, I got to meet him at a wrestling event here in Saskatoon. Â It was truly an honour. Â One thing we talked about was him turning on Hulk Hogan and how I hated that as a kid. Â Getting that reaction is what he wanted. Â He knew he did his job. Rest in peace, Mr. Wonderful. Â Thank you for the memories.
Wilkes was a first-team All-American during the 1984 season.
Del Wilkes aka The Patriot has died at the age of 59. Â According to the article, he died of a heart attack. Â He worked in Global Wrestling Federation, WCW, WWF, and All Japan. I really enjoyed his feud with Bret Hart. Â Canada vs. the United States. If you haven't listened to him on "Talk is Jericho," I highly recommend it. Â The stories he told about addiction, his life, wrestling, etc. is something that made for a great episode. Rest in peace, Del.
