This girl has a strong message for body-shaming victims: “Wear whatever the hell you want”

Sara Petty created a collage of tweets she found, alongside pictures of her wearing the clothes that the tweets said not to wear with a big smile strewn across her face. The result was glorious and in addition to helping other girls feel good about their bodies, she also helped herself.

so a traditional set up for a ceremony would look like this, with the audience lined up in front of the couple, and divided in the middle to make a path for the bride to come down and be given away by her father to the groom

instead, i propose (ohhh puns) a set up more like this:

where the audience is on either side (which halves the distance that the farthest person is from the action) and at the same time you can have each half of the couple come down aisles on opposite sides and both be given away by their parents to each other (which takes away all the gross sexist and hetero-normative crap)

Japan Elects Its First Openly-Gay Lawmaker

LGBT rights activist Taiga Ishikawa recently won a seat in Japan’s national parliament, becoming the country’s first openly-gay lawmaker.

But for some reason, the other humans managed to… Decipher all of that.

“ 'Kay. One, two, three! This bitch finna be empty, YEET!”

“… I- What- Gahh! You humans are incomprehensible!”

“I believe I’ve told you to address me as 'Commander’.”

Breakfast time was going in session. All humans and aliens went to eat their daily food. J'kiyuva, a pilot of their crew, went to hang around with the humans to get accustomed to their weird behavior.

In the corner of their eye, they saw Human Brittney. The girl had just been assigned to a deadly mission, which had unfortunately resulted in her feet getting a severe injury that had to be stitched up. She was holding, what the humans call, 'peanut butter and jelly sandwich’. Suddenly, her hand somehow managed to lose grip on the food, and it fell to the floor. She stared at the ruined and dirty food.

“Nothing in life is worth living anymore,” she said casually.

J'kiyuva was baffled by this. If the translator is correct, then it means Human Brittney does not want to continue living.

“Mood. Felt that way for like, fifteen years,” Human Jake put a hand on Human Brittney’s shoulder, “There are some ropes in the supply closet.”

“Hey, I have some bleach too if you want.”

“Oh, don’t be a pussy. Take a swan dive.”

The comments filled J'kiyuva with horror, as it suggested and gave Human Brittney ways to kill herself. But one more thing bewildered them…
