i don't think any of heated rivalry is gratuitous or fanservice-y. EXCEPT. the one scene in ilyas bedroom in boston where the shot opens on shane's ass in the foreground and ilya says "come here" and shane walks over to the bed. heated rivalry is a brilliant, well-shot, and well-edited show, but like. the opening of that scene is so clunky and unnecessary and awkward. would actually love to hear some commentary from the creators about like...why they chose to shoot it like that or leave it in
