I tend to forget that weight loss can be relaxed. I don’t need to bust my ass at the gym 5 days a week, I can go swimming or do yoga or a YouTube video, I can go for a walk or go bouldering with friends. I don’t need to eat perfectly clean, who cares about a tiny donut? I got so much time, I don’t need to lose 5kg in a month. Obsessing over being perfectly healthy ain’t particularily healthy. Gotta remind myself once in a while.

So my latest tale is that I've started taking Orlistat on prescription (Orlistat blocks c. 30% of fat eaten). I'm also using Noom to track food and have cut back on calories significantly, and I have to say it's working!! I've lost about 7lb in the last 9 days or so which is pretty awesome. 2 more lbs and I'm down a whole stone from my peak weight during lockdown.
I've also been swimming 2-3 times a week and getting out more. Feeling really positive about this at the mo, and pleased with myself.

Ok, I admit this is a bad photo - I'm not a great food photographer!
This was great though- mixed heritage tomatoes (red, orange, yellow and green), cucumber, avocado, light feta, a little but of red wine vinegar, dash of lemon juice, pinch of sea salt, pepper, balsamic truffle glaze on top.
Amazing.
Here's my 200kcal breakfast this morning 😍
Porridge, fat free yoghurt, strawberries, honey and a few pumpkin seeds.
Lunch today - chicken salad and porridge with raspberries, fat free yoghurt and honey.
It's really hot today so salad for lunch was needed. This is a Greek-style salad with light feta, avocado, butter beans, cucumber, tomato, red onion, olives, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Very simple and very delicious.

Afternoon snack: ginseng & matcha tea and a salad with spinach, avocado, pine nuts, butter beans, red peppers and red onions. Topped with balsamic glaze and a little extra balsamic vinegar. Simple and fabulous.
