In a nutshell:

Animagus Form= the physical transformation of a wixen into their power animal.

Patronus= the physical manifestation of a wixen's spirit animal.

Hence why animagus forms don't change but patronus forms do.

He had made the mistake of play too loudly and mother had paid the price, he remembers it all so clearly, too clearly. His fathers stomps, loud and powerful, demanding attention, crawling up his spine as he burst through the door, into Severus room, his safe space. He shouldn't be in here. He's not allowed in here! He barely got a word out before father had smacked mother across the face, leaving an angry red mark on her pale skin she fell to the floor like the toy dolls he wasn't allowed to play with.

"Keep that boy quiet!" He screamed, voice loud and so very angry, Severus remembered tearing up, feeling so powerless, what could he do against his father? Nothing, absolutely nothing. He'd just have to hope the man wouldn't turn his ire towards him and not figure holding her cheek limply on the ground.

Severus saw the look on his mother's face, her eyes were distant, and she was staring at the floor, her lips opened into a small 'O' shape, her hand shaking.Father continued to rage, screaming his voice horse at them, throwing things severus knew he'd would have to clean up, everything afterwards was a blur of figures and sounds. * Lily once asked Remus out in front of James, just to annoy him. Remus was so shocked, he stood there and didn’t say anything, eventually excusing himself to use the restroom.

* Lily once met Sirius in his Animagus form before she knew their secret. She let him lick her face and played with him for half an hour before an unusually angry James Potter dragged the dog away.

* Harry's first word was 'Pafoo' (Padfoot). He first said this when Sirius unexpectedly entered into the Potter's kitchen. James, Lily and especially Sirius were proud of the 11 month old baby.

* James was secretly one of McGonagall's favorite students. He excelled in Transfiguration, though he didn’t care to hand his homework essays in unless she threatened to take away Quidditch. He was clever and knew the right answers. She was proud of him when they won the Quidditch Cup and when he finally got Lily to say “I do.” She was half rooting for him the whole time.

During Harry Potter Series

* While dating Dean and Michael, Ginny was constantly comparing them to Harry.

* Mrs. Weasley didn't make Harry that first Weasley sweater because she was being nice -- she made it because she was so grateful that Ron, her youngest son who always felt second best to his older brothers, had a best friend all to himself. It wasn't pity or random kindness. She just wanted to find a way to thank the boy who made Ron's letters home such a joy to read.

* During the many dinners spent at Grimmauld Place, Sirius grew to become particularly fond of the Weasley twins. They exchanged countless stories about the pranks they pulled at school, and compared detention records.

* Upon walking down the great hall to be sorted, Neville Longbottom considered asking the Sorting Hat to place him in Gryffindor. He decided not to; and to his complete surprise, he became a lion anyway.

* On May 2nd, 1998 every witch and wizard held a moment of silence for the ones who died during the First and Second Wizarding War. When the respectful silence ended millions of different coloured sparks could be seen shooting up into the night sky.

* When Harry and Hermione came over to help Arthur Weasley set up the television he asked them hundreds of questions, most of them about how electricity worked. He had to be restrained from trying to electrocute himself because he wanted to see "Just exactly how it felt".

* One day Albus Severus was roaming the castle when he came across a portrait of a hook-nosed, greasy haired man who wore all black. “So you must be Potter's spawn, eh?” Snape sneered. Albus said “I’m sorry my brother James bothers you. I am Albus. Albus Severus.” Snape looked down into Albus’ eyes- the green eyes- Lily Potter once had. For the first time in a long time, Snape smiled. A true smile. “And I am Severus Snape.”

* Albus Severus Potter often visited the portrait of Severus Snape, and they would have long talks about Hogwarts and Potions in particular. Once when Albus was just about to get on the Hogwarts Express, he was talking to his father about Snape and how he thought he was a charming man. Harry asked him what Snape’s portrait was like, he told him that it was dark and bland, with potion vials scattered around and books in heaps on the floor. Harry wasn't surprised; he pictured the potions dungeons in his head from when he was at Hogwarts. However, when Albus proceeded to tell Harry that on the desk in Snape’s portrait stood a vase of lilies, which seemed to be the brightest and prettiest thing in the picture, Harry let out a little smile, hugged Albus and continued to help him get his trunk onto the carriage.

* Ron was helping Hugo with his spells one day, and Hugo mispronounced Wingardium Leviosa. Ron said, "It's Leviosa, not Leviosah." Hermione caught his eye, and they laughed for a good few minutes, much to Hugo's curiosity.

* Harry kept all of the sweaters Molly knitted for him over the years. When she saw them folded in his cupboard one day, she cried.

* George sent along with a box of Custard Creams with Roxanne as a gift to Neville on her first day of Hogwarts. She didn't speak to her father for a week when her Herbology professor turned into a canary in the middle of class.

* When a young Teddy Lupin was told his father was a werewolf, he thought he had the coolest dad ever.

* Lily, Rose and Roxanne's parents never bought them any pink cardigans.

Though she was very surprised she smiled coyly and said, "All right, then" and continued on with her conversation. George sat back down and looked at his brother Percy who looked absolutely stunned. Remembering a very similar conversation in his fourth year of school Ron patted George on the back and said, "Piece of cake."

* When Fred and Roxanne were very young, Fred constantly played sneaky pranks on his little sister. One day, when Roxanne was reduced to tears after Fred stole her Pygmy puff, George introduced his daughter to the punching telescope. Angelina scolded her husband fiercely when Fred came downstairs one morning with a black eye.

* To tell Harry she was pregnant, Ginny took him to Godric's Hollow. She knew he wanted to name them after his parents, so what better place to tell him? It was time to make new, happier memories there anyway. Hermione broke the news to Ron that she was pregnant for the first time by using a Christmas gift. It was a Chudley Cannons baby outfit.

* When Ron and Hermione were deciding on what color to paint their room in, Ron had joked saying 'Lavender'. Hermione didn't speak to him for a week, and vowed to get revenge. When Hugo was born and they were deciding on baby names, Hermione said in all seriousness, that she was dying to name the baby Viktor II. Ron never used the name Lavender again.

* The members of the D.A. consider their charmed galleons as one of their most prized possessions. Luna Lovegood made a necklace out of hers.

* When asked about the significance of Chocolate Frog cards, Ron explained to his children that they were wizards of great significance in the Wizarding World. Rose replied by inquisitively asking him why he was on one.

* James, Rose, Albus, Hugo, and Lily all complained about never going camping. Their parents simply wouldn't budge on their firm 'NO.'

* Shortly after the war, Hermione gave Ron her book of Muggle fairy tales so that he could understand that no, Cinderella was not an illness.

* Whilst playing for the Holyhead Harpies Ginny was hit on the back of the head by a Bludger, she fell off her broom and ended up unconscious for a few days. When she woke up the first thing she saw was Harry asleep in a chair next to her bed. This is when she decided to settle down, marry him, and have children. She was just waiting to make sure he wouldn’t leave again. The sight of him there reassured her he never would.

* Every Christmas since the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry tried to have something to represent every victim he had known on the Christmas tree. For Dobby, there was a pair of odd socks. For Mad-Eye, there were round chocolates covered with foil to look the eyeballs. For Fred, there was a little angel with a cheeky grin and a flame of ginger hair. For Colin, there was a tiny silver camera... For Tonks, there was a small star which changed colour. For Remus, there was a wolf which was near the star, watching over it. For Snape, there was a Lily that was entwined in the tree's pines. And for Hedwig, there was a toy owl on top of the tree.

* When they were at the end of their second year, Rose, Scorpius, and Al figured out a way to enchant their notebooks to work as a three-way note system. One person would write something and it would appear in the other two notebooks. The three friends used this method of communication all throughout their years at Hogwarts.

* When Hermione went back to Hogwarts, Ron gave her his favorite jumper to take with her. Hermione thought it might have been the most romantic thing he’d ever done. It was old and had a few holes in it and was much too big for her, but she rarely took it off.

* Harry was there for Umbridge's trial. She pleaded not guilty, that she was under the Imperius Curse the whole time. She kept on asking Harry to back her up. Esmerelda Marchbanks called upon Harry to confirm Umbridge’s story. "Potter, tell them the truth! Tell them I was under the Imperius Curse! I feel remorse! Please, tell them!" Harry simply looked at Dolores Jane Umbridge and said: "I’m sorry Professor, I must not tell lies

"The mandrake leaf is placed in the mouth for a month for many reasons, but what’s most important is that it measures who you are through what you say, what you eat, how you breathe. It is the main component of the animagus potion because it contains who you are as a person."

Neville kept visiting his parents. With every milestone that he hit — graduating Hogwarts, marrying Hannah Abbott, being hired as a professor — he made it a tradition to see them. It was not until he visited with a baby girl in his arms, Alice Francesca Longbottom, that he saw a flash of recognition in his mother’s eyes.

When Remus Lupin took the Map from Harry, he sat there for hours, opening and reopening it wrong on purpose just to see the clever insults sprout on the paper. It was almost like his friends, alive and well, were talking to him for the first time in 12 years.

The day Molly Weasley dies, the first thing she sees is a girl with red hair sprinting toward her. She panics, thinking it might be Ginny, but she sees startling green eyes and knows who it is immediately. Lily Potter pulls Mrs. Weasley into a hug and in a choked voice, whispers, “Thank you.”

Harry memorized every name of the 50 Fallen after the war ends. The day he dies, old and surrounded by his children, he repeats their names in his head like a mantra and begs for their forgiveness.

Eleven years later, at Hogwarts, students fill a corridor filled with portraits of those who died in the Battle of Hogwarts. They look for Harry Potter, Sirius Black , and other famous faces, but there’s a blue-haired first year in their midst, trying desperately to remember what his parents had looked like.

James Potter lost both of his parents at once. The news was delivered to him by Professor McGonagall with Sirius by his side, but James was in denial. He kept insisting that she was lying, and it wasn’t until Sirius broke down into tears that James knew, and it broke him.

The Marauders used to take turns babysitting Harry, and it became a tradition to pass the baby and say, “You’re it. Good luck.” And the last thing Sirius saw as he fell through the veil was Remus holding Harry, and the last thought that went though his head was, “You’re it. Good luck.”

It’s the year after the Battle of Hogwarts. The school is still being repaired and the class size has dwindled down to pitiful numbers. And the Thestrals are so excited about the newfound attention they’d been getting.

Dobby wrote a will in which he sent Harry over 200 pairs of socks, Ron a pair of trainers, and a misshapen hat for Hermione.

No matter what he was doing or who he was with, Harry would always stop and pet any stray dog that he came across. If he could, he would give them any food he had. Eventually he became known as the man with the treats. Not Harry Potter or the Chosen One; just the quiet man with dogbones. When dogs would bound up to him, throwing their paws onto his chest and barking with glee at his arrival, he was reminded irresistibly of Sirius.

At Colin’s funeral, Harry didn’t say a word. He had been to so many funerals recently that pleasantries felt like a waste of breath, and how terrible would it be for him to waste his breath when he was so lucky to have it? He stood silent and watching, and as the last of the attendees left, Harry placed a tiny picture on Colin’s grave, taken by the late boy himself. It was the only autograph Harry Potter would ever give.

On May 2nd, 1998, Hogwarts held a moment of silence for the fallen. Not a single portrait stirred, not a single stair shifted. Even Peeves ducked into a corner and went silent. Then, when the silence ended, millions of different colored sparks took off into the sky.

Tonks is easily excitable and loved entertaining Hermione and Ginny with her Metamorphosis abilities. One day, she found a picture of Harry in Sirius’ room to turn herself into, and ran downstairs to show Remus and Sirius. And it wasn’t until Tonks watched their hearts break that she realized Harry’s eyes were the wrong color.

Harry kept each and every one of the sweaters that Mrs. Weasley had knitted him. One day while cleaning, she saw them folded with so much care in his drawer. She turned to see Harry wearing his newest Christmas Sweater proudly, like it was the greatest honor he could have been given, and she burst into tears.

One day, Harry accidentally calls Mrs. Weasley “Mum” instead of Molly. His face goes bright red, fumbling with apologies, and she (once again) burst into tears.

The first thing Draco Malfoy did after the war was Apparate into Muggle London and march straight into a tattoo parlor. He emerges, his face still bloody and burned, with an arm void of a black skull. Instead, he looks down at the skin covered in flowers and the skull changed into a silhouette of the castle, and smiles for the first time in two years.

After Fred’s funeral, George does not return to the Burrow until about a year later. He refuses to go upstairs where his and Fred’s old room is and barely says a word. His hair is some wild outrageous color, cropped short and crooked, and Mrs. Weasley goes into a fit. She loudly asks why he would do that to himself, and is not prepared when he says, “I kept seeing him in the mirror.”

George pulls Harry aside:

“Harry, you’ve died, haven’t you?”Harry looked up at George and regarded him, careful not to let any incredulousness show in his eyes — he knew all too well of the torment George must be feeling, of the weight in what he was visibly preparing himself to say.

“I have,” said Harry carefully.George dipped his head; as he did, Harry caught something in his eyes that pained him so deeply, he was grateful George had tried to hide it from him.

“Does it...” George spoke to his shoes, and his voice sounded much older than Harry remembered.

“Did... Did dying hurt, Harry? D’you think… that Freddie was in pain when...”But George did not need to specify. Like he had been smacked right across the face with the words left unspoken, Harry knew, and it was a long time before he answered.

“It didn’t hurt,” said Harry resolutely, like he was deciding it right then and there.“It didn’t?”

“Quicker and easier than falling asleep.”

Sirius greatly liked the title of "Tough Rebel ", which he had earned at Hogwarts since he introduced himself as a Gryffindor. It empowered him to think that he had no physical, magical, or intellectual connection to House Black, and that it went against everything about being an uptight, purist heir. Complying with that rebellious image, according to him, also means loving only subjects and activities that his parents hate : pratical and/or showy things like DCAO or transfiguration wich cater more to free spirits than to your uptight pureblood.

And while yes, he does love those two subjects in particular, he also likes potions (when he is not grouped with James or Peter who cause him to slack off to play pranks) and arithmancy, both of wich his parents approve.

It's a little cube with a hole in where you can put cards in a slot, each card has a word like, "Mermaid", "Unicorn", "Troll", "Garden Gnome" and creatures like that.By arranging the card, a light projection is generated that reveals a description of the creature and a sketch of it, swimming, running or flying, depending on its nature.
