Speaking of you performing - I've yet to attend one of your shows, and it's a fact that literally pains me, Hayley. I keep telling Brandon it needs to happen, but stars don't seem to align. It's for sure happening in August. Hold me to it, okay? But don't worry, I know how busy life on the road is, so I will talk to my people and get the movie to you, that way you and B can both watch.

If you can come to any of my shows for the next tour... I would love to have you there. And I'm sure Brandon would, too. He's going to be at as many shows as he can. Life is going to be crazy busy but I'm excited to step into the next chapter and everything that it has to offer. It's going to be amazing. You could dress as literally any female super hero... or even anti-hero. One of your co-stars was Beast? Could mix the two - Harley Quinn x Beast. Imagine him wearing a 'Daddy's little monster' shirt. Hilarious.

i just have to say, i love paramore so much. your music has been such an inspiration for creating my music, and definitely for me as a person. how does it feel knowing songs that you've created years ago are still inspiring people and express themselves? @hayleyfm

What kind of music do you do? I'll have to give it a listen. Discovering new artists, well, new to me, is always such a joy. It kind of boggles my mind that people are inspired by the work that I've had a hand in making, honestly.

My oldest daughter Wylda is such a massive fan of yours, and she looks up to you so much, honestly, I couldn't think of a better person for her to look up to. She's going to be 16 soon, and I hear her belting out the lyrics to your songs constantly, it's pretty adorable. She'd be having a heart attack, though, if she knew I was talking to you right now and probably saying I was embarrassing her. But I'm a walking embarrassment to her, I don't even have to try. Are you still doing your solo tour right now? Because I meant to get tickets, but I was busy with some projects, and now I'm wondering if I missed out on getting to take her or not. // @hayleyfm

She does? That's so sweet. I think every teen thinks that their parents are embarrassing, no matter what's going on. So I would say that you're winning as a parent and hitting all those goals, congrats. I'm going to be starting a new tour in September. So you missed the last one but there's a chance to catch the new one. Going to be doing a lot more than just my last record - just let me know what date you wanna go to and tickets are all yours. Maybe your daughter won't think you're embarrassing for a day.

You know if you want to come to a show - I'll be putting you on the list right away. I would love nothing more than to have you at the show. Especially since we use your make up brand so much to create my looks. I adore everything about it. But if you can come to the festival, that's amazing too. We'd be able to watch a couple of sets together, maybe. Can't say that I've ever done a festival as just an audience member so I don't exactly know how unhinged people get so I'm going to take your word for it. Usually I'm off to the side enjoying what people are doing.

Never ever? It's so much fun. I've been to Cons in other cities, but there's something about San Diego... I remember having a great time back then, so I'm hoping this year it's even better. But yeah, I'm promoting an upcoming movie of mine. It's a sci-fi film called Onslaught, which is set to release this September. As for creating my own character? You have entirely too much faith in me. I wouldn't know how to even begin crafting an original.

No - there's a lot of things that I nerd out about but I guess going to a con has never really crossed my mind. I can't go this year either cause I'll be performing at a festival while it's happening. I'll have to go see the movie if I get the chance to. It's going to be a busy few months. Otherwise when it comes on streaming services... I'll be ready. What's something that you love about various different characters you like? Could pull from all of them to create something. Don't have to start from nothing.

You're just making sure you stay very busy. But I love this for you, that you already got another tour lined up. That means I got to be that supportive boyfriend again and travel along with you, if I'm not filming at the time. I guess I just don't have that outsider perspective on things and just assume it's a bit boring watching actors do their scenes. Hmm, I can only imagine. Being on the road for so long, being stuck with the same people all day, it happens. And I just need to make sure that you are drinking enough tea with honey or something with ginger in it as those things tend to help a sore throat. I will take full responsibility for that. Don't think this sickness will go away that easily. You know, I'll gladly wake up along with you if the baby is making you feel poorly. We're in this together and I'll do everything in my power to help you with everything. It's very sweet that you're doing that. Oh, I know they are. I can't wait to find out what weird cravings you're going to get. I'm glad you feel that way, babe. All I want to do is make you happy.

If you are filming.... at least I'll have your company with facetimes. It might be a little harder with our little one in tow but I'm sure that we could hire a nanny or one of our moms can come along, too. We'll make it work. Many other couples have in the past. I've always found the film side of things interesting - especially since I was looking at doing some voice stuff before my last album became a thing. But there's just something about watching you work that makes me happy - knowing you're doing something that you love. My voice coach has been helping me do exercises so I don't sound completely shit when I'm performing at the festival next week... getting used to how my body is going to be different a little while pregnant. You're making me emotional over here, babe. I don't think the hormones are helping that much but thank you. Might have to get you to rub my feet or something.... as I get further along, at least. I can tell that this little one is probably taking after you cause I've been wanting a steak and I don't usually crave something like that.

Haven't been to SDCC in ten years, and I'm so ready to geek out. I get to see my amazing costars, which is super fun, but I'm also very excited about getting into costume. Who should I dress up as, though?

I don't think that I've ever been to SDCC before. I hope that you have the best time while you're there. Are you promoting something? I would say do something totally unique. Or even create your own character. Have fun with it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm the only brother in my family. I've always liked that though. Growing up with my sisters gave me an entirely different perspective on life and I wouldn't change a thing about the way we grew up. Do you have any siblings I should know about? Music is therapy to those that need it. You can get so much out of a song and I know a lot of people really cling to that. Well, I hope I make you proud from home. What's keeping you busy these days? Forgetting lyrics is an art form. You have time think on the spot. Luckily, the crowds never seem to judge hard and that's always nice to have as back up.

Damn. How disappointing for me. Although sisters are the best. Yeah, I have two younger sisters and three step brothers on my dads side but I'm an only child on my moms. Kind of the best of both worlds? You know that I'm a huge fan of everything that you do. Wish I could have got you opening for a few of my shows. I'm renovating my community house in Nashville, preparing to welcome a little one into the world and doing rehearsals for my next tour. Might be writing new things here and there. Sometimes I think that the crowds sing better than we do.

I still can't believe you're about to be a mom. That's such a wild sentence to say out loud. I know you're going to be an incredible one, though. You have so much love to give, and your little one is already so lucky. How are you feeling, though? How's everything going with the pregnancy? Sleep is criminally underrated. And yes, I'll happily make you a list. Between the food, the people, the little towns… I get why everyone falls in love with it. River's doing really well. She's still in her swim lessons, and I swear she's becoming more fearless every week. She's at that age where she's convinced she can do absolutely everything by herself, which keeps Taylor and me on our toes. She turns 2 next month.

I can't believe it, either. But the little one is telling me that it's happening. It's funny because my sister is at the end of her pregnancy and I'm at the start of mine. My dad is wondering if I'm going to give him another grandson. I don't know if I want to find out, though. My mom is just happy she's getting a grandkid. Keep it a little mystery. I'm still feeling sick every now and then. But I'm taking all the prenatal vitamins and everything. I'm only a couple of months along but I'm fully taking advantage of how doting Brandon is being. Glad to know that my kid is going to have a great role model in her. I hope they become besties. Are you doing anything for her birthday? Or is there any requests for gifts? I'll be sending something her way.

i know, i know! i was just sitting there, thinking about it when that hit me. it's crazy that it basically it's been around as long i've been in existence. you are so far from being a grandma and not even close to being old.

It makes me a little queasy thinking about that. That if my band was a person - it would have been able to drink for a couple years already. Sometimes I feel like a grandma - my back and neck don't thank me when I've been headbanging on stage. I'm gonna wear the grandma badge with honor - don't even worry about that.

In their eyes, yes and you know what? I'll take it. I rarely impress them, so this was huge for me. You know, I think I might actually take you up on that offer soom. Have to keep the best brother momentum going and well, I'm a huge fan myself, so it wouldn't totally be a selfless act. You do? Well, you play the nerves well. I'd have never been able to tell until you said it. Yeah, actually. I'm back on the road and it's great. Music really does make me happy, so I'm really enjoying it. Do you have other brothers that you're competing against for that title? Cause I might have to play both sides there. Music really has a way of making everything better. Whether you're writing, performing or listening to it. I wish that I could come and see you out on tour but I've hardly got time for that, unfortunately. I'll be watching the videos that I come across online. Forgetting your own lyrics is kind of a right of passage for anyone. I've done it more times than I can count.

okay first of all—don't do that, miss hayley! don't go writing yourself off before netflix even gets a chance to reject you. it would be their loss and frankly, i would like to think they'd have more sense than that. i have been cut off, or at least gotten the reminder from nextflix a few time. most notably for my breaking bad marathon. is it really that unbelievable that someone would watch that thirteen hours straight? i don't personally think so but netflix apparently did. no, you're fine. those are all quality answers. especially the hometown one. where are you going to be in september and how can i acquire the tickets? i've lost every ticketmaster war i've ever entered, so my confidence is a little shaky.

It would be an honor to be rejected by Netflix, though. So I'm looking forward to it. I'll pin it up right next to my grammys. Hold up - you watched Breaking Bad for 13 hours straight? Are you okay?
