Unfortunately, I don’t have much more roadrat left. What I’ve been working on lately is original work or just different ships same fandom. But!! If you like this sort of “the love was there but so was the torment” I tend to add it to everything, because I love writing torment. You should see more of it in my other works! (whenever I.. finish them…. Eughh)

On a lighthearted note, it is so hard to make comics about sexual situations and release them into the world as a firmly asexual artist. Not because they're uncomfortable to draw or anything, but because when I post it people go oough my bonar. And they don't even mention my lettering or body language or ANYTHING. Or I get like a reaction where someone goes ohoh I see that you're into X. No... The character is into that. This is important to their relationships and the reason WHY they're into that says something about them as a person in this story. And then they go, heh, riiiight. NO!!! ANALYZE MY ART! THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS HAS TO DO WITH HOW THESE CHARACTERS ENGAGE WITH EACH OTHER AND EXPRESS AFFECTION AND VULNERABILITY. THINK ABOUT WHAT IT HAS TO DO WITH CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. #SOCIETY. Been really locked into drives weekend (because I play the fucking game lmao) and otherwise having a lot of irl things happening (lots of bad, some really good), AND all that aside all the writing I’ve been doing has been for the dnd sessions in the campaign I run.

Honestly though, comments like that are gold to me. I love to write and a comment telling me that something I’ve done has improved someone’s life even in a small way? That’s impact. We live in societies that tell us over and over we have no value and nothing we do is ever good enough. So for someone to post a comment telling us that we improved their lives with our stories? That tells us our effort had value. We writers set out to improve the world in tiny ways, offering random acts of kindness in the form of a few minutes’ entertainment, and comments tell us we’ve achieved that little goal.
