Planning on doing another comic this week but until then, have a Forest Sprite model! The face rigging isn’t done yet and I’m still smoothing out some stuff with the model but it’s coming out pretty cool I think!
Just some forest sprite sketches.
Some more sketches for the game I’ve been working on randomly. Sprites!
Some doodles from a few months ago when I was starting to work out some game ideas. I was thinking about doing some anthropomorphic animals as characters and I even did some models and animation and set up some basic elements in the game environment but I don’t think it’s going to work out. I’m messing with some other stuff now.

I’ve been doing some random work for Boom studios here and there. This is one of my favorite things I’ve done, a cover for Munchkin #17!
D&Doodles. Random drawings of characters from the D&D game I’m playing with friends. Also hi yes I am still alive.
This kid doin' his thing some more. Still messing around with technique and color and stuff. Fun times.
Same kid, kinda different style, different coloring/inking technique. Hmm...
Kid, bunny, carrots. I dunno. Messing around with color and lines. I need to really work on my technique haha

Sketches from the last few days, most of them from yesterday. I got really into doodling yesterday for some reason haha. I have been pretty bad about keeping up with sketching practice but I'm fixing that! I broke up the page into more manageable images so that they aren't super hard to see but I liked how the actual page turned out so I threw that on the end. Maybe I'll color and ink some of these things. I like the skateboarding/kickboxer kids.
Visit my website forever and tell everyone ever about how much you love it. Thank you.
The site is broken right now but I'm working on trying to fix it today. Here's yesterday's comic if you missed it!
Many of you fine folks are familiar with my comic, Happle Tea. For those of you that enjoy it, I've created a Patreon page to help support the comic and to help me start making new projects financially viable. If you like the comic and you have the means, please consider making a pledge!
Also, I'll be updating my Tumblr more often now that I'm back in the groove of Happle Tea.
Some doodles from the month of May, playing around with sketching in SAI instead of Photoshop. It doesn't lag or have any of the weird issues I sometimes get in Photoshop, which is nice. I like this sketchy pencil brush a lot too!

Yeaaaahhh I'm still drawin'! I made a kinda-pencil brush in Paint Tool SAI and started sketching yesterday and I'm pretty happy with the results. Pushing myself with poses and angles and such to get the drawing-juices flowing.
So I have this idea...
With all the changes I've been dealing with lately and with my health improving swiftly, I've decided not to sit and wait around for my eventual goals to just happen. I'd like to share my thoughts with followers and get your opinions on them since they'll have to involve some of you if they're ever going to happen.
Those of you that read Happle Tea know that I am deeply interested in folklore, mythology, and spirituality. Most of my knowledge comes from books, I buy and read a ton of books and scour the internet for information pertaining to particular topics so that I can entertain and, simultaneously, educate people about the rich history of human spirituality and imagination. Along with continuing to do the comic, my goal (for some time now) has been to travel directly to places and speak with people that know stories firsthand or with experts that are much better versed in the topics than myself and then to share those journeys, stories, and conversations with other people to make them accessible and interesting.
I always envisioned this happening with travels across Europe or Africa or Asia but I'm extremely poor thanks to the conditions I've been living under for the last 8 years, but I realized there's a lot of folklore and interesting spiritual traditions here in my own country and in my own state. I've begun working on finding some people to visit with and speak to about these topics and I have some thoughts on how I might bring them to you, should you be interested.
My question to everyone is: Would something like this appeal to you? Would you enjoy something like a podcast wherein I interview and converse with experts, folklorists, or spiritual leaders from regional or lesser known traditions about their stories and histories? I may also try to work comic stuff into this somewhere!
I'm planning to do some of this regardless of other peoples' interest and I will definitely post whatever I manage to put together either way.
Keep in mind this is (hopefully!) going to be alongside continuing Happle Tea and other comic projects that I'm currently working on!
Drop me a note, <3 this post, tweet me, send me an email, or leave a comment on the Happle Tea facebook page if this is something you'd like to see happen and especially do so if you think you'd support something like this financially!
