In those heavy days in June,

I've been thinking about stained glass a lot lately.

And not always in the sense of grandiose adventures and cases surrounding them (though I love them dearly and they are, to my unpleasant surprise, a rarity) but like just...a subtle nod sometimes. Holmes just happens to *know* a handful of other characters from other works and it's up to us (and Watson) to imagine the how and where of those accquaintancs.
