A lone streetwalker, new to my usual route, leaned against the building. He didn't attempt to solicit me but seemed upset, staring at the ground. The moth demon, tall and beautiful, was sporting a painful-looking black eye.
Beautiful, you gotta stay out of those bar fights, I joked in a friendly manner while sauntering along the sidewalk, figuring he was banged up because of some darker reason but wondering if I could get a smile out of him.
